Role Description

• This is a full-time Investment Sales Associate (Credit Business) role at our investment management subsidiary - Sthenic Capital Management Limited, A Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulated Fund Manager. As an Investment Sales Associate, your day-to-day tasks will include identifying potential investment opportunities, conducting market research and analysis, building and maintaining credit business pipelines and client relationships, preparing credit memorandum, and executing credit and other investment sales strategies. And meeting specific credit sales targets. This is a hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work.
•  Investment Associate - Buy Side is a budget focused role for an experienced self-starter in deal and transaction origination, making and management in a high yield private debt business in Lagos. It is a strong support and result oriented role in project managing deal pipeline through effective execution and customer satisfaction in both the investing and structuring segment of Sthenic

Qualifications

• Capacity to earn NGN100m in Sales Commission on a NGN10 billion balance sheet (Do not apply if you are not capable of working on such target)
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of investment products and financial markets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• 3+ years working experience with verifiable investment banking or transaction management experience
• BSc in any numerate subject 
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ICAN, CFA will be a good great advantage
• Excellent verbal and corporate written communication skills is a must
• Great relationship management skill

 Responsibilities

• Origination - operate the process of sourcing, closing and onboarding customers through a seamless process with long term value in mind. This includes preliminary deal screening, structuring, and fulfilment evaluation.
• Deal execution and management- Project manage the execution process of live deals through technical support to a healthy relationship management and distribution network of the Company
• Budget Management - Support the team lead to ensure all team targets are delivered and all deal costs are matched to a profitable revenue per deal.
