Job Description

• The ideal candidate for this role is expected to possess ACA/ICAN/ACA membership with an exam written. S/he should also have an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Update internal systems with financial data
• Assist with filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, expenses and other documents.
• Work with bookkeeping software.
• Compile and analyze data.
• Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the Finance department and office operations.
• Participate in financial audits
• Review and implement financial policies
• Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Minimum of 1-3 years Pre/Post-NYSC experience in a finance role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and accounting software.
• High attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a good business judgment
• Membership of a recognized professional accounting body - CFA, ACCA or ICAN is desirable
• Communication and writing skills
