    Mechanical Engineer (Plastic Manufacturing)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment used in our plastic manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Development: Create and optimize mechanical designs for plastic manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.
    • Process Improvement: Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
    • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects, including the installation of new equipment, process upgrades, and facility expansions.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing production disruptions.
    • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and plastic manufacturing technologies to drive innovation within the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastic industry.
    • Strong knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing mechanical systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
