    Operations Officer

    Job Details

    • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing of transactions.
    • Monitor and manage the flow of financial operations, including payments, settlements, and reconciliations.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow and enhance efficiency.
    • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards and to identify potential areas for improvement.
    • Analyze existing operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement process enhancements and automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Monitor the performance of new processes and make adjustments as needed.
    • Support the customer service team in resolving complex operational issues.
    • Ensure that customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and records.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance and key metrics.
    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
    • Work closely with other departments, such as IT, compliance, finance, and customer service, to support their operational needs.
    • Provide training and support to staff on operational processes and procedures.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
    • Oversee the use of technology and systems to ensure they meet operational needs.
    • Coordinate with IT to resolve technical issues and implement new systems or upgrades.
    • Ensure data integrity and security across all operational systems.
    • Lead or participate in operational projects, such as system implementations, process redesigns, or new product launches.
    • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in an operational role within the banking or financial services industry, and digital banking environment.
    • Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in using banking software and operational systems.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Knowledge of digital banking technologies and trends.
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
    • Familiarity with risk management practices and compliance standards.
    • Certification in operations management or related fields.
