Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant procurement experience and a proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes.
• The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services to support our organization's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives, including cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors that meet the company's standards for quality, cost, and reliability. Manage and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Sourcing: Lead the sourcing process for various categories of goods and services, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement costs while ensuring the highest level of quality and value. Implement cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, including ethical sourcing practices and environmental standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and key performance indicators.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
