Product Designer at Vencru Nigeria Ltd

About the Role:

• We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our vibrant team at Vencru. As a Product Designer, you will be instrumental in creating delightful user experiences and intuitive interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
• You will work to gather and evaluate user requirements, illustrate design ideas through various mediums, and build mockups and prototypes that bring our product vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver elegant and delightful product experiences
• Research, identify, and articulate customer needs
• Create the wow in the solutions keeping in mind the user experience
• Explore solution space and refine concepts via wireframes and detailed high-definition design
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Clearly, articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands collaborating closely with Product Development Lead to define both long and short-term vision and roadmap for digital products
• Adhere to style standards for fonts, colours, and images.
• Actively collaborate with stakeholders throughout the design and development process
• Build prototypes and design tests to validate customer needs, requirements, and behaviours
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Collaborate within and cross-team to problem-solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and practices, with a focus on creating intuitive and delightful user experiences.
• Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
• Experience building UI mockups and prototypes to demonstrate product functionality and design concepts.
• Ability to receive and incorporate feedback, iterate on designs, and meet project deadlines.
