Product Manager at GIVO Africa

Description 

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our products.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the software/product development lifecycle, a passion for technology, and a strong ability to translate market needs into product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Define the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to bring products to market.
• Define product requirements, prioritize features, and create detailed product specifications.
• Manage product development lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.
• Ensure product quality and performance meet customer expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and pain points.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
• Develop customer-centric product features and enhancements.
• Utilize data and analytics to measure product performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
• Track key product metrics and KPIs to assess product success.
• Lead and mentor product team members to achieve product goals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Manager with a successful track record of delivering software products.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with clean/renewable energy industry is preferred.
