Python Web Developer at eHealth4everyone

We are looking for a mid-level Python Web Developer responsible for building APIs and web applications for managing business logic and data exchange between the database and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and secure APIs to serve data and provide the functionality to the front end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Design software architecture for web applications and ship elegant python codes with consideration of performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Implementation of security and data protection

Qualification

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related subject.
• Deep understanding of backend web technologies
• Fluent in python programming
• Proficient in developing web applications with Django
• Understanding of Object Oriented programming in python
• Understanding of Software Architecture and Software Design Principles

Experience and Skills

• Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience.
• Should be familiar with a python web framework Django (preferred), Fast API or Flask frameworks.
• An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
• Ability to work effectively while remote (with little to no supervision), great attention to detail & highly organized.
• Familiar with the use of relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL etc.

Requirement

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc 
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries, preferably the Django ORM
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
• A detailed CV that contains links to previous/current projects.
