    Quality Assurance / Control Manager

    Responsibilities

    • To carry out monitoring and measurement of Quality Management System processes
    • To continuously review quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements, and making recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
    • To review products QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation meets products specification.
    • To review and approve quality control documentation to ensure planned activities meet products requirements. Resource Management
    • To co-ordinate and control the day-to-day operations of quality control personnel, so as to provide an efficient working environment,
    • Ensure all and equipment is safely operated and physical resources are maintained, stored, and organized to allow efficient and effective operation.
    • To manage and direct a team through sound personnel practices such as; relevant and effective inductions, Identification of training need, Coaching activities in accordance with identified Quality assurance standards, company procedures, Products specifications and contract requirements.
    • To monitor and report quality control progress, notifying any predicted shortfall or discrepancies against timescale and budgets

    Qualifications

    • HND, B.Sc. Degree in relevant field Experience,
    • Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
    • EXPERIENCE: More than 5 Years experience (from Food Manufacturing industry)

    Job Requirements / Specification / Skills:

    • Must be able to prepare and submit timely & periodic reports relating to job function and tasks performed.
    • Proven knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS), and Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
    • Must have the following skill: Problem-solving, Computer Proficiency, Adaptability, Quality driven, Communication, Organization, Multi-Tasking, and Analytic.
