Quality Assurance Officer at Excel and Grace Consulting

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify any discrepancies.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in internal audits to assess compliance with company quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
• Liaise with production and other departments to ensure adherence to quality standards and address any quality concerns.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements for food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality assurance role within the food production industry (or a relevant field)
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, GMP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using inspection equipment and tools
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with HACCP principles
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
