Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Computer engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar role in a manufacturing company.
• Training and certification in Siemens S7 is compulsory. 
• Relevant certifications, registrations, and licenses will be an advantage.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of different control technologies.
• Creativity, vision, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence.
• Extensive experience working on engineering projects.
• Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement planned preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain low/zero downtime because of machine breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair faults relating to electrical/electronic/automation.
• Installation and commissioning of automation and electrical projects.
• Machine efficiency and process improvement.
• Preparing proposals, reports, and other documents related to projects.
• Performing calculations to determine load capacity, stress limits, and other engineering metrics.
• Train and manage the engineering/technical teams.
