• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team.
• As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure and systems that power our applications.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to create robust and scalable software solutions.
• The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of backend technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-quality software.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture, databases, and APIs that support our web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using best practices and industry standards.
• Optimize and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of the backend systems.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, debug code, and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate the backend functionality seamlessly.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks in backend development.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve software development processes, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Python with extensive experience in Django. Experience in NodeJs will be a plus.
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), including database design and optimization.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects
