    Senior Telesales Executive (Equity)

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Telesales Executive to join our founding team.
    • We are at a critical stage in our growth and have an urgent need for a Senior Telesales Executive.
    • Ideally, we want someone with previous startup and enterprise who has experience of engaging with customers, providing excellent customer service, generating and converting leads for sales opportunities.
    • Africa is the world's youngest continent and expanding the fastest. The number of young people working in Africa will rise to 375 million by 2030.
    • The International Monetary Fund estimates that by 2035, there will be more young Africans joining the workforce each year than there are in the rest of the world put together due to population growth on the continent.
    • The number of young individuals looking for work is much higher than the number of opportunities that are open to them. The skills of young people entering the workforce and the needs of companies are also out of sync.
    • Many young people will have trouble finding employment to better their living conditions if nothing is done.
    • We have spent the last six months investigating the finest methods for creating the talent workflow system that will assist in matching African talents with opportunities. Currently, at the stage of executing the prototype system, business processes while some aspect is live in production to start generating revenue and Marketing.
    • We'll close the skills gap and provide African talent greater job chances.
    • The founders are individuals with top academic background, professional experience in leading companies at leadership positions & strong technical background.
    • The aim of the company is to become a “unicorn” (one-billion-dollar valuation) in the next 3-5 years as the product-market is considerably validated.
    • The company’s values are centered on meritocracy, reason, entrepreneurship, and empathy.
    • The individuals who will be hired at this position will be given a significant amount of equity given that the company is at execution stage.
    • The person will be working fully remotely on a part-time basis while continuing their current job until we begin generating revenue and secure funding.
    • We are at a critical stage in our growth and have an urgent need for a Senior Telesales Executive. Ideally, this is a growing startup, there is no salary until we can start generating revenue and funding. Founder is open to team members having a main job until funding and revenue is secured.
    • A Telesales Executive with ten years of experience plus is needed for a part-time remote position. The Telesales Executive will be responsible for daily tasks including communication, lead generation, customer support, and sales. They will be expected to engage with customers, provide excellent customer service, and generate leads for sales opportunities.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development strategies and meeting revenue targets. This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and confident individual to develop their career with a reputable company.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute business development strategies within the team to drive growth
    • Identify opportunities and create new sales leads to meet revenue targets
    • Utilize telephone sales, marketing techniques, and networking to attract business from client companies
    • Ensure a strong sales approach is completed each week on existing and prospective clients
    • Achieve personal KPI's, including decision-making,calls, manipulated starts, booked meetings and prospect/suspect growth
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of industry-specific value propositions
    • Identify customer needs and target accordingly
    • Follow CRM processes
    • Set up and complete business development presentations
    • Drive hot leads and lead strategies from the delivery team and measure success on this.
    • Host and attend corporate hospitality events when required to improve business relationships
    • Negotiate with a strong understanding of "feature/benefit" sales

    Requirements

    • Excellent telephone manner
    • It is preferred to have prior telesales, business development, or sales experience with at least five years of experience.
    • Ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced team environment
    • Driven with a competitive nature
    • Someone who is looking to progress within a reputable company

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years verifiable experience
    • Customer Service and Communication skills
    • International Sales and Customer Support experience
    • Digital marketing skills are a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively engage with customers and build relationships
    • Highly motivated and target-driven
    • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
