    Sign Writers & Fabricators

    Position Overview:

    Novateur Nigeria is looking for skilled and experienced Sign Writers & Fabricators to contribute to the production of high-quality signage and visual communication materials for our clients. The Sign Writers & Fabricators will be responsible for creating and installing signage products that meet our clients' specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in sign making, fabrication, and installation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Interpret design specifications and client requirements to produce high-quality signage products, including but not limited to banners, billboards, vehicle wraps, and indoor/outdoor signs.
    • Select appropriate materials and tools for sign fabrication, ensuring durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
    • Operate various fabrication equipment and machinery, such as vinyl cutters, CNC routers, and laser cutters, with precision and efficiency.
    • Perform vinyl cutting, weeding, masking, and application to create vinyl lettering and graphics for signage projects.
    • Fabricate metal, plastic, wood, and other materials to construct sign structures, frames, and supports according to design specifications.
    • Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, priming, and applying adhesives as necessary.
    • Install signage products at client sites, ensuring accurate placement, alignment, and secure mounting.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sign fabrication and installation, ensuring that finished products meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.

    Qualifications:

    • ND, HND or equivalent qualification.
    • Proven experience (3 years) in sign making, fabrication, and installation, preferably in a sign shop or similar environment.
    • Proficiency in sign fabrication techniques, including vinyl cutting, weeding, masking, and application.
    • Familiarity with fabrication equipment and tools, such as vinyl cutters, CNC routers, and welding machines.
    • Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication and installation work.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
    • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights, Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to client sites for installation work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
