Job Description

• As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient store functioning, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• You will lead a team of store employees, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including shelves, displays, and storage areas.
• Ensure the availability of merchandise by coordinating with the purchasing department and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stock shortages or overages and coordinate with the appropriate teams for replenishment.
• Schedule employee shifts, manage break times, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to maximize employee performance and development.
• Resolve customer issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Actively engage with customers, solicit feedback, and implement improvements based on customer needs and preferences.
• Monitor sales activities, analyze sales data, and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to plan and implement promotional activities and product displays.
• Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and placement of merchandise, maintaining a visually appealing store layout.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees and customers by adhering to health and safety guidelines and store security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven 2 years work experience as a Store Supervisor or in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
• Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for point-of-sale operations and inventory control.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
