Supervisor - Foreign & Trade Payments at Promasidor

About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Online processing of Form M and Letters of credit
• Liaising with banks to resolve discrepancies on the letter of credit and shipping documents
• Compliance with regulatory agencies on all trade documentations
• Adherence to Policies and Procedures
• Monitoring trade related requests and activities.
• Monitoring FX debits in the statements
• Documentation of Forex transactions and ensuring prompt settlement to foreign suppliers
• Preparing monthly schedule of interest provision on long and short term loans
• Updating of LC reports showing clearly confirmed and unconfirmed LC positions
• Checking of Pre and Post Negotiations charges on Letter of Credit
• Ascertaining impact of IFRS 9 on derivative instruments

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• First Degree in Arts, Social sciences or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
