Supply Chain Accountant at Design Union

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Reporting To: Financial Controller

Job Summary

• Management of the Company's Supply Chain Financial transactions and maintaining adequate supporting accounting records.
• Management of the Company's Inventory, control physical verification of stock quantities and monthly reconciliation of Inventory.
• Maintaining the Company's Accounts Payable ledgers and daily monitoring of transactions recorded and reconciliation of suppliers’ statement to ensure accuracy of the Company’s liability.
• Management of the available funds for smooth running of Company's operations and improving the Company's margin through reduction of the Net Financing costs.
• Management of relationships with Financial Institutions and Sourcing of funds, at optimum prices and lowest risk.
• Monitoring and reviewing statutory deductions and practices to optimize the company's tax liability and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

• B.Sc. (1st or 2nd Class Upper) in Social Sciences or Management
• Qualified Accountant - ACA
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Management and Financial Accounting
• Proficiency in the use of Enterprise-wide Accounting Application such as SAGE or SAP, Ms Office packages and Power Point Presentation.
• Must not be more than 40 years of age
