    Supply Chain Coordinator

    OVERALL FUNCTION

    • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our organization.
    • The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for spearheading initiatives to enhance trade finance operations, manage international and local logistics of our products, and implement robust inventory management strategies.
    • With a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation, the incumbent will play a key role in shaping a responsive and agile supply chain network that aligns seamlessly with organizational objectives, delivering sustainable value and success.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Trade Finance Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough analysis of trade finance opportunities to optimize cost structures and enhance financial efficiency within the supply chain.

    International Supply Chain Coordination:

    • Efficiently coordinate and manage international supply chain activities, ensuring seamless operations across various regions.

    Logistics Management:

    • Implement and oversee logistics strategies to streamline the movement of goods across borders, minimizing lead times and maximizing cost-effectiveness.

    Inventory Management:

    • Develop and implement effective inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce holding costs, and improve overall supply chain responsiveness.

    End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

    • Take a holistic approach to managing the entire supply chain, from procurement to distribution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

    Cost Optimization:

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, carriers, and service providers.

    Performance Metrics:

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

    Risk Mitigation:

    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including disruptions in logistics, geopolitical factors, and market fluctuations.

    Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain network.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales & distributions, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the agility and flexibility of the supply chain, adapting to changing market conditions and business requirements.

    Compliance and Regulations:

    • Stay abreast of international trade regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all supply chain activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; an advanced degree will be an added advantage.
    • Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM or CILT is required.
    • Proven experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Inventory management in the FMCG industry.
    • Strong knowledge of trade finance, international and local logistics, and trade regulations.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record in a similar role within a fast-paced, high growth, technology-driven organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
