    Surveyor

    Job Overview

    • Our client in the Real Estate Survey sector needs a surveyor who will be responsible for conducting precise land and property surveys to determine boundaries, elevations, and other critical measurements.
    • This role involves working closely with other professionals in the real estate sector to provide accurate data and analysis, essential for property development, sales, and management.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in using modern surveying tools and technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct detailed land surveys to determine property boundaries, dimensions, and elevations using various surveying instruments and technologies.
    • Create topographic maps and site plans by collecting and analyzing data on land features and terrain.
    • Research and analyze property records, maps, and previous surveys to establish legal property boundaries.
    • Utilize GPS, total stations, drones, and other surveying equipment to collect accurate data.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports, maps, and drawings based on survey data.
    • Communicate survey results and findings to clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure all surveys comply with legal standards, regulations, and company policies.
    • Assist in planning and managing surveying projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Perform quality control checks on survey data and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Conduct fieldwork in various environments, sometimes under challenging conditions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., RICS, NSPS) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
    • Proficiency in surveying software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, GPS technology).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
    • High ethical standards and professionalism.
    • Strong numerical and spatial awareness.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
    • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
