    Unit Sales Manager

    Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance sales.
    • Certification: CIIN certificate (an advantage).
    • Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a commitment to ethics and professionalism at all times.
    • Education: B.Sc./B.A./HND/OND/NCE.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customized Insurance Programs: Tailor insurance solutions to Sales Drive and Renewals Handling: Proactively pursue sales opportunities and manage policy renewals.
    • Insurance Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of various insurance products, including policy terms, conditions, and benefits.
    • Team Building: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales executives.
    • Target Achievement: Meet Unit sales targets and objectives.
    • Client Interaction: Call potential clients to expand the customer base and interview them to gather financial data and discuss existing coverage.
    • Policy Explanation: Clearly explain the features of various insurance policies.
    • Policy Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze clients' current insurance coverage and suggest additions or changes to their plans.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Leading and Managing Staff: Recruit, build, train, and motivate a team of insurance agents and support staff.
    • Setting Unit Goals and Objectives: Develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and customer satisfaction standards.
    • Marketing and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and promote agency services.
    • Customer Service and Retention: Ensure outstanding customer service, resolve complaints, and implement retention strategies.
    • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Technology and Systems Management: Implement and manage technology systems, including agency management software and CRM tools.
    • Reporting and Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators, analyze data, and report agency performance to senior management or ownership.
