    Capacity Building Advisor

    Job Profile

    • Integrated Child Health and Social Service Award (ICHSSA 3) project currently being implemented in Northern Nigeria to improve the quality of life of HIV/AIDs positive children by leveraging on OVC/Social Service to strengthen the HIV continuum of care in a family-community–facility service delivery interface.
    • The Capacity Building Advisor will Work with the ICHSSA 3 technical team to develop an overall capacity-building strategy that will sustainably build the capacity of and strengthen CSOs, Community and religious leaders, as well as other OVC service providers.

    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • Work with the ICHSSA 3 technical team to develop an overall capacity-building strategy that will sustainably build the capacity of and strengthen CSOs, Community and religious leaders, as well as other OVC service providers.
    • Monitor, evaluate and report on program results that measure increases in skills and abilities, and determine the impact of training interventions.
    • Develop good knowledge of state and national government structures, policies and political processes as it relates to VCs and key decision-making structures and how to influence them.
    • Work with other like-minded agencies on a range of collaborations with government to persuade policy makers on the need to prioritize VC policies like the Childs Right Act, document the State Plan of Action and Priority Agenda, including donors and politicians, of the value of SFH’s policy recommendations.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Master’s Degree in International Development, Public Administration, Public Policy, Finance Management, Economic Policy, Education or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management for donor funded programs, which must include at least 3years in Programming for OVC, and Sub granting to CBOs.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a variety of institutional structures and cultures
    • Demonstrated capacity to work with multiple partners to assess varying degrees of organizational and technical capability.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of policy and programs serving vulnerable adolescent and young women at high risk of HIV infection.
    • Familiarity with Nigeria’s institutional, policy and programming context for persons living with HIV, including knowledge of the social welfare and health sectors in Nigeria.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage government and represent OVC priorities and issues as they relate to children and adolescent living with or at high risk of HIV.
    • Must have the ability to coach, mentor and develop capacity of staff and partners
    • Fluency in Hausa strongly preferred/ as well as any other language widely spoken in the state of operation.
    • In addition to the above, a candidate who has worked on USAID grants within the Northern States and resides within the implementing states will be highly preferred.

    Clinical Services Advisor

    Job Profile

    • Develop and promote strategies that support retention of CLHIV/PLHIV in care and attainment of viral suppression.
    • Promote greater collaboration of facility-community and referral mechanism of facility-facility to increase quality of care among CLHIV and PLHIV.
    • Identify and implement appropriate facility- and community-based strategies to address gender based violence prevention and OVC service delivery gaps.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • A Degree in Medical Field.
    • Candidate must possess at least 5 years’ cognate experience, which must include at least 3years in Programming for OVC, and Sub granting to CBOs.

    State Team Lead

    Job Profile

    • The State Team Lead will be the Primary Liaison with government, Stakeholders, Implementing partners and other programs within the state.

    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • The State Team Lead will liaise with government stakeholders, implementing partners and other programs within the state.
    • The State Lead will be expected to identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments.
    • S/he will supervise activity implementation and ensure activities meet stated goals and reporting requirements.
    • The State Lead will have demonstrated ability to work in complex environments, manage diverse teams, and deliver results within agreed timelines.

    Front Desk Officer

    Job Profile

    • The Front Desk and Admin Officer is responsible for receiving visitors, incoming memos/mails, taking notes during meetings, filing/archiving, management of petty cash operations, administration of events/programs, inventory management, travel management and supervision of the office cleaners on ICHSSA-3 Project

    Responsibilities
    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Excellent MS Office skills (including Word, Excel, Power-point etc.)
