    Career Insights Advisor

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the database of alumni information, including personal contact details and employment information, in line with the Data Protection Act
    • Oversee surveys to collect employment/career information and outcomes of students and graduates
    • Oversee data collection on industry trends for quarterly updates of career reports to be shared with students and alumni
    • Work with the Employer & Alumni Relations Advisors to generate insights from data collated on attendance at events and follow-up activities
    • Obtain feedback from employers on the conduct and performance of students and alumni at career fairs, interviews, and job placements
    • Obtain feedback from students and alumni on the conduct of employers at career events and in job placements
    • Manage job portal and coaching scheduling platform to ensure that they are accurate and accessible to students and alumni
    • Assess and prepare reports on various metrics and KPIs relating to the Career Services Centre
    • Conduct surveys and prepare detailed employment reports on feedback relating to students and alumni career prospects or outcomes
    • Prepare quarterly industry/career trends reports or newsletters and disseminate to students and alumni
    • Report on critical data, insights, and trends identified through surveys and research

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field
    • Certification from relevant professional bodies would be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data management, data analysis and research-related roles
    • Experience with using surveys and other tools to compile data
    • Experience in developing, designing, and interpreting data visualisation reports
    • Adept in data mining, analysis, and data modelling techniques
    • Possesses a working knowledge of modern statistical packages
    • Must have strong research skills, presentation skills & notable attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Career Development & Employer Relations Advisor

    Responsibilities

    • Develop strategy and action plans for engaging with employers and forming recruiting partnerships
    • Support students and alumni with obtaining internships and full-time job offers through Nile University’s relationships with key employers
    • Maintain resume processes, resume referral, and other methods of presenting students and alumni to employers.
    • Manage the design and delivery of correspondence materials to students and employers regarding recruitment activities.
    • Schedule, organize and plan all recruitment activities including release of calendars, execution of information sessions, career fairs, etc.
    • Collate, record, and monitor event attendance, follow-up on action points and referrals from employers
    • Conduct continuous assessment on the effectiveness of career events and other related programmes and provide feedback to the Management.
    • Visit employer sites, and host organizations on campus to strengthen relationships
    • Research and assess employer recruiting needs, quality of recruiting services provided, and other employer-related data to improve the recruiting programme.
    • Conduct employer evaluations of interactions with the Centre and experiences with students at interviews/job placements
    • Provide reports to relevant stakeholders on the performance of implemented initiatives

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Guidance & Counselling, Education, Public Relations or any related discipline in the Social Sciences
    • MSc / MBA in a related field will be an advantage
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in career advisory/development, employer relations/ workplace/ corporate relations or related roles
    • Ability to think logically, and strategically and translate these into successful initiatives aimed at providing recruitment opportunities for students
    • Candidate should be well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a high volume of alumni queries, as they arise to meet deadlines
    • Excellent people & project management skills, good networking & negotiation skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Possesses good presentation/facilitation skills, research, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Working knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
