    Chief Financial Officer

    Job Summary

    • The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO, members of the executive management team and the Board of Directors, managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting as well as advising on long-term business and financial planning
    • They will also establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders and review all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures reliable current and forecasting reports

    Requirements and skills

    • Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to agribusinesses

    Compliance Recovery Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The Compliance Recovery Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards, particularly in the areas of financial recovery and debt collection.
    • This role involves monitoring compliance, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate financial losses.
    • The officer will also work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with recovery protocols and legal requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Regularly review and monitor the company's recovery processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct internal audits to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
    • Implement and manage the company's debt recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Liaise with clients, customers, and legal teams to resolve outstanding debts while maintaining ethical standards.
    • Identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks in recovery operations and recommend solutions to mitigate these risks.
    • Ensure that all recovery activities are documented and reported according to company policy and regulatory guidelines.
    • Train staff on compliance requirements and recovery procedures to ensure company-wide adherence.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on compliance issues, recovery performance, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management.
    • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and update policies and practices accordingly.
    • Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure that recovery processes are legally sound and efficient.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field.

    Experience:

    • 5 years of experience in compliance, debt recovery, or related field.
    • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and recovery strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in using compliance management and recovery software.
    • Ethical Judgment: Ability to make decisions that align with company values and legal standards.
    • Keen awareness of potential risks in compliance and recovery processes.
    • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts with clients or internal stakeholders.
    • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant laws and regulations impacting compliance and recovery operations.
