    Compliance Officer

    Our client is an infrastructure company that offers construction, traffic solutions and procurement services to both public and private clients. Due to expansion they are in need of a COMPLIANCE OFFICER.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing, implementing and managing compliance program.
    • Coordinating with Federal and State regulators.
    • Planning, implementing and overseeing risk-related programs.
    • Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues.
    • Developing company compliance communications.
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and making sure that company complies with the rules that govern it.
    • Adequate knowledge of the NGX and SEC compliance regulations for companies on the growth board.
    • Making sure all filings to the SEC are done as at when due.
    • Regulating the company’s policies to ensure transparency, equity and fairness to all.
    • Coordinating and scheduling required compliance training for employees.
    • Ensure that company has appropriate decision-making processes and controls in place so that the interests of all stakeholders (shareholders, employees, suppliers, customers and the community) are balanced.
    • Must have in depth knowledge of the Money Laundering (prohibition) Act, 2011, Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011, SCUML, Financial Action Task Force Recommendation 2012 and Money Laundering and Combating of Terrorism Regulation. 2013.
    • Developing an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Compliance Program.
    • Coordinating the training of staff in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
    • Preparation /Filing of Reports
    • Design and Implementation of compliance programs.
    • Introduce policies, procedures and controls to deter criminals from using company for money laundering.
    • Ensure the company complies with its legal obligation.
    • Making sure all statutory documents are up to date.
    • Any other task that may be assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree from a reputable university in Accounting or Finance.
    • ICAN certification is an added advantage.
    • In depth knowledge of Corporate Governance, all aspect of relevant legislation and regulation of the NGX and SEC.
    • Must have experience working as a Compliance Officer for at least three years.
    • Must have experience of internal auditing.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Excellent analytical thinking skills.
    • Ability to interpret complex policies and regulatory documents.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • A keen eye for detail and good memory.

    Exhibition and Logistics Assistant

    Our client is a licensed distribution firm that specializes in the theatrical distribution of independent and commercial filmed content. They are looking to hire a highly motivated and organized Exhibition & Logistics Assistant.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Report and work with the Exhibition & Logistics Manager.
    • Assist in day-to-day exhibition tasks, including cinema onboarding, cinema booking, maintaining records, and customer service.
    • Perform box office data collation and entry tasks and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
    • Assist in logistics & procurement operations.
    • Assist in organizing industry events.
    • Aid in preparing client reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
    • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
    • Collaborate with team members on special projects and assignments as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 1-year proven experience in experience in Exhibition or Logistic roles.
    • Professional qualifications, certifications, and memberships are an added advantage.
    • Must reside in Lagos.
    • Must have completed NYSC.
    • Must not be less than 21 years of age.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace, with emphasis on Google Sheet.
    • Proficient in the use of calendaring and event scheduling tools.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Excellent time management and organization skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
