Job Summary

• We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Account Officer to join our team in Ilorin.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Sage software.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Sage software is a top priority.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
