    Field Service Engineers - Liquid Chromatography / Mass Spectrometer and Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometer

    Job Post Description

    • Perform installs, PMs, IQ OQ, maintenance, and repairs on GC, HPLC, GC/MS, and LC/MS instrumentation
    • Main point of contact for customers, helping with issues both remotely and in the field.
    • Assist customers by delivering remote-first, digital-first technical support to help increase remote fix rate for LC instruments and Empower and Breeze software platforms.
    • If an issue is unable to be resolved remotely, troubleshoot to determine the root cause, and provide necessary part numbers and details prior to requesting a Field Service Specialist
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal customers, ensuring their success.
    • Provide detailed documentation of customer interactions within the corporate call tracking software.
    • Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and relationship to the customers' application demands.
    • Actively participate in training, on-site visits, remote training, and other opportunities to advance technical skills.
    • Identify sales opportunities and provide leads to the sales organization.
    • Utilize remote tools to resolve customer issues efficiently.
    • Contribute knowledge from customer interactions in the organization's Knowledge Base.

    Candidate Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Chemistry or Biology, Engineering, or other science-related field is preferred, We will also consider applications with equivalent experience, training, and education.

    Candidate Experience:

    • Trained in any Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, or Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.
    • Proven ability to work independently and plan your own time.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Salary
    N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.

    Product Specialist, Analytical Laboratory Instruments

    Responsibilities

    • Sell analytical instruments, consumables, and services in the assigned geography.
    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by developing a pipeline of opportunities in the region.
    • Proactively generate new leads and respond to marketing leads to create awareness for our products.
    • Develop relationships with senior managers and key opinion leaders at customer accounts.
    • Navigate orders through purchasing using an accurate understanding of the customer’s internal processes.
    • Obtain an understanding of technical product details and sell chibek benefit menu to each customer based on a solution for their specific needs.
    • Conduct technical seminars as needed via webinars or at customer sites and conferences. Coordinate remote demonstrations and services as needed to obtain customers’ technical and financial commitment.
    • Update the Salesforce CRM system regularly and provide sales forecasts as needed to management.
    • Proactively engage customer install base to grow consumables and service contract revenue.
    • Coordinate installation, training, and services for existing customers to increase satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop chibek product value statements and create powerful sales tools.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Science, preferably in Biology or Molecular area.
    • 2+ years of direct sales experience in life science tools with capital equipment and consumables.
    • Demonstrated track record of sales performance and exceeding quota.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for creativity and problem-solving to determine solutions for customers and close sales.
    • Ability to gain a detailed understanding of technical products. Experience with vaccine development is desired.
    • Extensive Rolodex of contacts in the assigned territory.
    • Ability to demonstrate self-motivation, meet timelines, and multitask effectively.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Odoo CRM software.
    • Location in the Lekki area is preferred.

    Salary
    N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.

    Off-Grid Development Engineer

    Job Description
    Off-Grid Development Engineer with a focus on designing, developing, and implementing Mini-grid projects. The role includes:

    • Design of standardized and customized modular off-grid electricity systems (PV-battery, PV-battery-diesel, and diesel-PV hybrid) with a focus on rural, off-grid applications
    • Detailed design and cost breakdown of power generation and distribution systems
    • Preparing tenders and quotes for clients
    • Contractor management and cost analysis for installation and commissioning phases.
    • Selecting and developing the subsystems including the monitoring and metering systems
    • Providing engineering support to clients, in particular with respect to O&M processes for installed systems and monitoring of the performances.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Mechanical or Electrical Degree or equivalent experience with 2 - 5 years in product management / design / technical support environment, preferably in the renewable energy industry.

    Candidate Experience:

    • Knowledge of solar power system design, including grid-tie and off-grid/battery backup solutions, is preferred.
    • Mechanical knowledge of solar mounting systems.
    • Thorough knowledge of the renewable energy market and regulations in Nigeria
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to provide a professional presentation to consumers, dealers, distributors, and service providers.
    • Strong customer service skills and a desire to provide an exceptional level of service to all customers, internal and external.
    • Must have the drive to be the best in all we do. Overseas trips may be required for training and meetings.
    • Use of the main software tools, including Homer, PVsyst, Autocad, Metering, and monitoring software packages
    • The capability of electric calculations and technical knowledge in energy systems, preferably involving solar PV, batteries & diesel
    • Hands-on experience with electrical power systems or similar technical fields required
    • Experience managing contractors and working with external parties
    • Ability to work with a multidisciplinary, international team in multiple locations
    • Fluent in English, in speech, and writing.

    • 25 - 40

    N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
