    Finance Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

    • Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize revenue and control costs.
    • Prepare variance analysis reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess progress towards targets.

    Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with department heads to create annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts.
    • Monitor budget vs. actual performance, investigate variances, and propose corrective actions.
    • Update forecasts based on changing business conditions and market trends.

    Accounting & Financial Reporting:

    • Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
    • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes, preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with statutor requirements.

    Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay informed about tax regulations and ensure timely filing of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory payments.
    • Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
    • Liaise with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities to address inquiries and compliance issues.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (ACCA, CFA) is a plus and can be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail, beauty, o service industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.

    Floor Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Staff Management:

    • Oversees the daily operations of the salon, including stylists, nail technicians, and lash technicians.
    • Manages staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all services.
    • Conducts performance reviews and provides feedback to staff.
    • Handles staff disciplinary actions as needed, in accordance with company policies.
    • Provides training and development opportunities for staff.

    Customer Service:

    • Ensures exceptional customer service by all staff members.
    • Resolves customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
    • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
    • Handles customer inquiries and bookings efficiently.
    • Assigns clients to available stylists, nail technicians, or lash technicians based on their
    • preferences and availability.

    Salon Operations:

    • Maintains salon cleanliness and organization.
    • Manages inventory and supplies.
    • Ensures adherence to health and safety regulations.
    • Handles cash register operations and daily sales reporting.
    • Oversees salon maintenance and repairs.

    Financial Management:

    • Assists with sales reporting and analysis.
    • Monitors salon expenses and identifies cost-saving opportunities.

    Team Leadership:

    • Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Motivates and inspires the team to achieve salon goals.
    • Delegates tasks and responsibilities effectively.
    • Provides guidance and support to staff members.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in salon management or a related field.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent customer service orientation.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in using salon management software (if applicable).
