    Farm Attendant

    Location: Ashipa Village, Ogun State

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and smart Farm Attendant to conduct farm activities within our FMCG factory. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our farm operations run smoothly and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Animal Care and Maintenance:
      • Perform any combinations of duties concerned with raising poultry for eggs and meat.
      • Remove chicks from shipping cartons and place them in brooder houses.
      • Clean and fill feeders and water containers.
      • Spray poultry houses with disinfectants and vaccines.
      • Inspect poultry for diseases and remove weak, ill, and dead poultry from the flock.
    • Egg Collection and Handling:
      • Collect eggs from trap nests, release hens from nests, and record the number of eggs laid by each hen.
      • Pack eggs in cases or cartons.
      • Select, weigh, and crate fryers and pullets, and record totals packed or crated on shipping or storage documents.
    • Record Keeping and Monitoring:
      • Maintain feeding and breeding reports.
      • Monitor feed, water, illumination, and ventilation systems.
      • Clean, adjust, lubricate, and replace systems parts, using hand tools.
    • General Farm Duties:
      • Cut off tips of beaks when necessary.
      • May be designated according to the type of farm or product as Farmworker, Breeder Farm; Farmworker, Chicken Farm; Farmworker, Egg-Producing Farm.

    Requirements:

    • 2-5 years of experience in a related role, FMCG experience is an added advantage.
    • Candidates should be residents in Abeokuta and its environs and live close to the work location.
    • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

    Lab Analyst

    Location: Ashipa Village, Ogun State

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Lab Analyst to perform laboratory tests and analyses within our FMCG factory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by conducting various tests and maintaining accurate records.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Laboratory Testing:

      • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
      • Conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses as required by company protocols and regulatory standards.
      • Prepare and analyze samples using laboratory equipment and techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and titration.
    • Data Recording and Reporting:

      • Accurately document test results and maintain detailed laboratory records.
      • Compile and interpret test data, and report findings to the relevant departments.
      • Ensure all laboratory data is recorded in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
    • Quality Control:

      • Monitor and maintain the quality of laboratory work by calibrating and validating laboratory equipment.
      • Identify any deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions.
      • Participate in internal and external quality control programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
    • Safety and Compliance:

      • Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations in the laboratory.
      • Ensure the laboratory is well-maintained, clean, and organized.
      • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Research and Development:

      • Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures.
      • Support research and development projects by providing analytical support and expertise.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
    • 2-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
    • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and equipment.
    • Proven work experience as a Lab Analyst or similar role.
    • Solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards.
    • Proficiency in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve issues independently.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
