    Production Supervisor

    Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING sector is looking to fill the role of a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To communicate, plan and coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure order fulfilment in according to product & quality specifications and Sales & Shipment requirements
    • Plan, optimize and control work process to ensure maximum performance and highest efficiency in the team
    • Plan, allocate and coordinate resources such as manpower and materials for the production
    • Optimize, standardization and documentation in operation workflow to avoid potential quality impact.
    • Address issues immediately to reduce disruption to the production
    • Perform quality checks and control on the production throughout the various stages of production
    • Track production status and provide regular reports or updates to the project team and management
    • Manage and adjust for any changes in the production schedule and/or budget
    • Provide training to production team leaders and operators to ensure competency within the team
    • Using 6S methodology, Implement and improve work flow to increase production efficiency by reducing waste and improve safety standards
    • Maintaining motivation and good discipline within the team
    • Perform, lead and guide team members in production troubleshooting and investigation if required
    • Practice good housekeeping in production, identify and highlight potential danger for workplace safety improvement
    • Enforce safe work practices and cultivate safe work habits in team, assist in rolling out safety campaign
    • Provide support to production, warehouse, local store and engineering functions when needed for process continuity
    • Work closely with the Maintenance Team on preventive control to minimize downtime in the process.

    REQUIREMENT 

    • HND/ BSc. Science graduate in any science related field.
    • Good communication skills, leadership qualities, controlling, and need self-motivation to lead 30 to 40 workers working under this position.
    • Working experience as a production Supervisor in any of the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry for a minimum of 1-2 years.  
    • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
    • Advanced skills in MS Office
    • A Team Player with good interpersonal skills

    Accountant

    Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING sector is looking to fill the role of an ACCOUNTANT
    AGE: 30 Years and Above 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
    • Ensure accounting transactions are carried out in line with best practices.
    • Prepare periodic financial statements and ensure same as true reflection of all accounting transactions.
    • Carry out daily reconciliation of all sales lodgments i.e cash and electronics payment to ensure correctness of all transactions from all business units.
    • Ensure financial discipline and prudence in all transactions.
    • Carry out monthly stock reconciliations to avoid stock out.
    • Review all receivables and payables for accuracy or correctness
    • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
    • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
    • Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant
    • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
    • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
    • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
    • Provide input into department’s goal setting process
    • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

    REQUIREMENT 

    • HND/ BSc. Graduate in Accounting and Must also be a Chartered Accountant from the institute of Chartered Accounting of Nigeria.
    • Knowledge of TALLY accounting software is essential.
    • Working experience as an Accounting for a minimum of 4 years in a reputable Manufacturing industry as an Accountant, looking after all the functions of Accounting and Finance. 
    • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Awareness of business trends
    • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks and Sage 50. 
    • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
    • Accuracy and attention to detail

    Quality Control Manager

    Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING sector is looking to fill the role of a QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
    SLOT: 2

    RESPONSIBILITY

    • Responsibilities include establishing, maintaining and administering testing and inspection procedures, controlling and documenting changes in specifications, and the investigation and assessment of customer product complaints.
    • Leader of the Plant’s Total Product Quality Control Program.
    • Directly supervises assigned laboratory employees and functionally supervises all hourly test and inspection personnel.
    • Works under the general supervision of the Plant Manager.
    • Has latitude for un-reviewed actions and the exercise of independent judgment and discretion within established policies and procedures including the authority to withhold product shipments when quality problems arise.  Must secure prior approval for deviation from policies and procedures and for significant changes in testing or production plans.
    • Internal contacts involve management and operations personnel throughout the plant, as required to resolve quality problems.
    • Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
    • Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
    • External contacts involve sales and customer personnel, vendor representatives and corporate research to provide or obtain technical assistance in quality matters.
    • Typical problem-solving situations involve the analysis of various quality problems to determine probable causes, and to recommend necessary changes to processes, specifications, raw materials, etc. to effect resolution.
    • May be assigned other plant administrative or supervisory functions, including safety and environmental related activities.

    REQUIRMENT 

    • HND/ BSc. Graduate in Chemistry/ Biochemistry and post graduate degree in Chemistry is an added advantage.
    • QC Manager should have worked in any reputable pharmaceutical company for a minimum of 3 years or minimum of 8 years as a Senior Chemical Analyst in any chemical or pharmaceutical industry/Food Industry.
    • Knowledge of the basic PROBLEM-SOLVING TECHNIQUES A and the applications like, 
    • ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
    • 5W+ 1H 
    • PDCA CYCLE 
    • 7    QC tools etc, will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of making SOP's  ( standard operating practice ) in a process, and good knowledge about the process flow charts will also be an added advantage 
    • Experience in the management of the Quality function or Process Engineering in manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in formulations for products (Bill of Materials), Quality supplies budget and ordering.
