    Hostel Parent

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a caring and responsible Hostel Parent to join our team.
    • As a Hostel Parent, you will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for students living in the hostel.
    • You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of students, as well as maintaining a clean and organized living space.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students living in the hostel
    • Ensure the well-being and safety of students, including monitoring their physical and emotional health
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal growth and development
    • Supervise and manage student behavior, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
    • Maintain a clean and organized living space, including common areas and student rooms
    • Collaborate with other student life staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
    • Develop and implement programs and activities to promote student engagement and well-being
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including student attendance, behavior, and progress

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or related field preferred
    • 2+ years of experience working with teenagers, preferably in a school setting
    • Experience working with students of varying ages and backgrounds
    • Experience developing and implementing programs and activities to promote student engagement and well-being.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

    Literature-in-English Teacher

    Job Description

    • We seek a highly qualified and passionate Literature-in-English teacher to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching literature courses to students at the high school or college level, developing curriculum, and assessing student progress.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and engage students.

    Responsibilities

    • Teach literature courses to students at the secondary school level.
    • Develop and implement curriculum for literature courses, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
    • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students
    • Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
    • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
    • Participate in school events and activities
    • Stay current with developments in English literature and pedagogy.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Master's Degree in English, English Education, or a related field
    • A Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field may be considered for entry-level positions.

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of teaching experience in a high school or college setting
    • Experience teaching literature courses at the high school or college level
    • Experience developing and implementing curriculum.
