    Warehouse Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and safe product handling.
    • Implement and conduct periodic physical inventory verifications to maintain accurate stock records.
    • Manage the timely receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics.
    • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet production and sales demands.
    • Coordinate the loading of trucks according to sales orders, ensuring correct product selection and minimizing damage.
    • Implement procedures to minimize stock breakage and product loss during storage and handling.
    • Process necessary entries in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for accurate inventory control.

    Requirements

    • Proven ability to ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain accurate inventory records.

    General Insurance Underwriter

    Job Description

    • Involvement in the renewal process of all insurance policies.
    • Registration and acknowledgement of claims in the claim register.
    • Opening of claim file and generation of claim reference number.
    • Notifying the brokers of new claims.
    • Requesting for claim supporting documents from the unit involved for onward delivery to the brokers depending on the class of insurance.
    • Follow up with the unit with constant reminders to ensure the required documents are submitted on time and claims are fully documented.
    • Ensuring that loss adjusters are appointed in time to investigate and adjust any claim, following up with appointed loss adjusters to ensure there is no delay in submitting his report to our insurer.

    Crane Operator

    Responsibilities

    • The role of the Ladle Crane Operator is to safely operate the hot metal crane during operations and during times of maintenance at the facility
    • Operating a cab-controlled overhead crane and working around molten steel and slag.
    • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within SMS; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures
    • Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting hot metal for the operation
    • Emptying ladles after processing, coordinating the operations with the entire melt shop team, and to cross train other team members in the hot metal crane operator position
