    Supply Chain Manager, Engineering

    Job Description Summary 
    Our client requires the services of a Supply Chain Manager who will manage supplier relationships and negotiate the procurement and contracts while ensuring compliance to our policies and procedures, and achieving the best overall value. He/She will be responsible for purchase order placement and execution, supplier follow-up and capacity development, and supplier performance management.

    Roles and Responsibilities 

    • Follow the MRP to generate the forecast for suppliers required, and obtain confirmation from suppliers
    • Prepare and release Purchase Orders IPO/Form M/LC on time as per the planned orders generated by the ERP
    • Update Purchase Orders in regards to quantity, confirmation date, ship date, and delivery date.
    • Request pending deliveries from suppliers and correct P.O. accordingly
    • Escalation at the right time, conduct meetings with Suppliers, cross-functional teams to address the issues
    • Solve all discrepancies on invoices due to prices and non-expected extra costs
    • Coordinate all general mailing actions to be taken related to supplier issues
    • Coordinate with Logistics for freight forwarding & customs clearance
    • Update the supply matrix (lead time, delivery times, MOQ, minimum and maximum lots, etc.)
    • Daily review of shortages & Overstocks
    • To maintain the Inventory target set by the organization
    • Knowledge of Advance license, SON & customs process
    • Work cross-functionally with sales and branch managers to drive cost, delivery, quality, and supplier development.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers for purchase order execution
    • Manage problems and schedules changes
    • Actively participate in a supplier performance review

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (or a high school diploma/GED).
    • Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in Sourcing and Supply chain.
    • Experience in Engineering, Marine, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Operations is an Added advantage.

    Desired Characteristics 

    • Strong background in contract execution  
    • Experience in a Buyer role in the Engineering or Marine industry
    • Manufacturing or Shop Operations experience 
    • Ability to analyze data and perform pricing analysis
    • Experience with sourcing of new suppliers / vendors

    Head Of Sales & Marketing

    Roles and Responsibilities
    Sales

    • Define objectives, strategies and action plans for sales; with a view to improving short and long-term sales and earnings for the organization;
    • Define, drive, manage the realization of quarterly/annual revenue targets and budgets;
    • Forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams with minimal deviations;
    • Penetrate, develop and close prospective accounts in existing and new sectors;
    • Sell the company’s services to potential customers in line with agreed procedures (Contract signing, Order placement, Invoicing and Service Delivery);
    • Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle;
    • Develop strong relationships with relevant trade groups, professional associations, non- governmental and governmental organizations on behalf of the company;
    • Gather market intelligence and customer information from the field and interpret in sales and strategic planning functions;
    • Champion the execution of new products developments;
    • Represent the company at events and trade meetings to promote its solutions and services;
    • Work closely with Service Delivery and Accounts departments to ensure effective documentation and execution of all aspects of sales transactions;
    • Work with accounts department to drive receivables collection;
    • Train the sales team by establishing programs or seminars in the areas of new services and growth, sales of emerging services in new sectors, competitive strategies, etc;
    • Establish and manage effective programs at intervals to coach the sales team.
    • Marketing – In conjunction with the Marketing Communications Manager
    • Define strategies to market the company’s solutions and services;
    • Articulate marketing activities and initiatives to create top of the mind awareness of the company and its products and services;
    • Create frameworks and platforms to constantly engage customers and build loyalty;
    • Supervise the Marketing team and align their activities to the strategic direction of the company;
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the MD from time to time.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management related field with minimum of 6 years of related experience in Service sector, 2 years at managerial level;
    • A Masters’ degree will be an added advantage;
    • At least a professional qualification in Sales and Marketing;
    • Preferred candidate must have demonstrable experience in interpreting sales performance and market trend information;
    • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales and marketing team.

    Production Supervisor

    Our client, a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is currently recruiting qualified candidates to fill the position of a Production Supervisor for their factory in Lagos.

    Job Description

    • Plant Operation Strategy - To develop plant operations strategy/policy, processes and procedure.
    • To manage the implementation of all the relevant applicable SOP's.
    • To set the direction of the plant operation, forecast monthly production plan, weekly target and prepare action plans for self and individual team members.
    • The Production Supervisor appointed will be responsible to execute planning and co-coordination at various levels i.e
    • Production Planning, Maintenance Schedule Planning, Inventory Planning (Product & Packaging), Workforce Planning, Shift Planning, Housekeeping Planning etc.
    • Day to Day Management - To manage the day-to-day operations of shop floor providing guidance, encouraging team work and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
    • Day to day coordination among various functions for planning, procurement from other plants, production & dispatch planning as per customer requirements.
    • To plan for Manpower as per shop-floor operations and job allocation for the people on less production days.
    • Operational Targets - Monitoring achievement against Production Plan, Cost of Production, Production Efficiency, Operating Efficiency, Overall Equipment Efficiency, Direct Labor cost and Production Budget monitoring and reporting.
    • Managing Time lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned shop floor time lines and goals. Ensuring the effectual adopting of new programs and policies, providing training in order to meet improved requirement ordered by clients.
    • To supervise and enforce quality standards as applicable and work on implementation of GMP, HACCP & ISO.
    • People Management - Manages to effective communication by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing of formal and informal feedback on performance and training needs - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.
    • Reporting - To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.
    • Safety Health & Environment - Ensure compliance to all relevant on-floor/off-floor safety, health and environmental procedures across the department in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

    Requirements

    • Education
    • B.Sc. / HND in related field 
    • Certification in related field is a plus.

    Work Experience

    • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in a Food & Beverage manufacturing company.
    • oHigh level exposure to process operations.
    • Experience in ISO / HACCP and other quality and safety standards.
    • As per the need of the business the job is transferrable and posting can be made anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa.
