    Production Supervisor

    Description

    • The successful candidate will manage a team of Powder Coaters, responsible for the complete powder coating process. Estimate material requirements, assign tasks, evaluate work progress, ensure that safety guidelines are respected, recommend corrective actions, and train staff.

    Duties

    • Supervising production line (powder coating section) in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all principles and practices of powder coating application.
    • Observe all coating equipment including electrostatics guns, and machine gauges to detect defects.
    • Responsible for the preparation of parts for coating.
    • Ensure baking at appropriate temperatures within a limited time.
    • Ensure that all canopy parts produced are well coated and production activities are consistent with company-established goals for quality and customer specifications.

    • Escalate all issues with production to the production manager.
    • Responsible for shift schedule, workstation assignments/rotations, staff annual leaves, overtime.
    • Schedule and conduct section meetings.
    • Responsible for the preparation of parts for coating.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in relevant courses.
    • Strong exposure to Industrial/Manufacturing environment
    • 5-7 years of proven work experience in powder coating.

    Competencies:

    • Demonstrating good ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range
    • Knowledge of powder painting, maintenance of powder coat equipment, and how to read blueprints and drawings
    • Knowledge of the mechanics and repair of coating equipment
    • Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments.
    • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
    • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

    Logistics Planning Officer

    Job Description

    • The successiful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance to delivery plan and ensuring safe and timeliness of deliverables.

    Responsibilities

    • Receiving Delivery Plan from Sales and updating Delivery tracking Report and allocate Vehicles based on Load capacity and location.
    • Forwarding the delivery plan to stores to arrange the materials and prepare all documentation
    • Forwarding document to Logistic officer in charge to load the vehicles
    • Calling Clients to confirm correct address and inform client about the delivery and time the goods will be delivered
    • Updating Daily fleet movement to know where the vehicles are every 2 hours, and send report to HOD
    • Update daily logistics file and sending to HOD,
    • Following up on deliveries till they reach to clients.
    • Update delivery tracking report hourly.
    • Escalate any delays to HOD
    • Ensure all signed copies of invoices are given to stores.
    • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

    Qualifications

    • Good knowledge of logistics and vehicle coordination and movement.
    • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Paying good attention to details
    • Team player, good-natured.
    • Good leadership and coordinating skills
    • Good knowledge of roads and routes
    • Understanding planning, shipping systems
    • Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries
    • Tracking the progress of shipments
    • Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations.
    • 3 - 5 years of work experience.
