    Sales Manager (Used & Rental Equipments)

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the specification, selection, pricing and presentation of MANTRAC Used machines as well as specification, selection, pricing and operation of Rental machines to both local and international contracting groups pan in Nigeria.

    Job Description
    Responsibilities:

    • Obtain orders which meet or exceed agreed targets.
    • Arrange visits to existing customers to ensure maximum coverage of the key customer groups.
    • Aggressively promote the company’s product (Used and Rental Equipment) nationally and win more prospects therefrom.
    • Provide product related technical assistance/advice to customers and Salesmen nationally.
    • Obtain, analyze and communicate to the General Sales Manager-Construction & Material Handling
    • Negotiation of Used Equipment and Rental sales into high valued international and local projects.
    • Preparation and updating Used Equipment and Rental Sales forecasts.
    • Preparation of Used Equipment and Rental Equipment specifications in line with tenders and follow up same.
    • Pricing machines, attachment etc for specific bids and coordination of marketing strategies on Used and Rental Equipment.
    • Build up Used and Rental stock inline with Group guidelines
    • Overlooking rental fleet performance and ensure harmonized cross functional performance to support rental fleet operation
    • Intelligence gathering of information related to on/off shore funds for Nigerian projects.
    • Advise market trends and changes in relation to used machines and drive the updated initiative to ensure coping with market potential
    • Liaison with Product Support Sales and Service Dept. for the realization of the Company’s product support objectives.
    • Monitoring multilateral/bilateral funded projects and follow up on opportunities.
    • Selling the total Company’s capability profitability.

    Requirements

    • M.Eng, B.Eng/HND in Engineering,
    • Training in marketing and sales management and
    • 5 years relevant experience from HMD, Monurent & SMT.

    Product Support Sales Representative

    Job Summary

    • The potential candidate will be responsible for the implementation of product support programmes and policies. Also to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and performance objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Visiting customers in the Region (old and new), prospecting for parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seek for regular patronage.
    • Sell and implement product support programmes such as CTS, REMAN, SOS, etc on a regular basis.
    • Prepare relevant quotations and/or tenders (accurate and complete to requirement), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities as desired, and ensure conversion to effective sales.
    • Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services (including backordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
    • Preparation and implementation of weekly call plan and corresponding summary report.
    • Preparation and updating customers’ profile list.
    • Keep abreast of product/service information from Caterpillar and related suppliers, and ensure adequate dissemination to concerned employees and customers.
    • Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
    • Actively involved in the Region’s debt collection drive on an on-going basis.
    • Establish and report competitive activities and sales opportunities (for parts, units & service). Implement actions that will ensure prompt and adequate conversion to Caterpillar products & services.
    • Implement relevant marketing and promotional programmes as they arise.
    • Arrange and implement relevant training programmes for Parts office staff and customer representatives.
    • Ensure prudent financial management and adequate maintenance / security of Company assets placed in incumbent’s care by virtue of function and/or location.

    Requirements

    • HND/B.Sc. Engineering with about 2 years working experience in Technical Sections of Mantrac or similar company.
    • 2 years of experience working with Caterpillar products will be an added advantage.
    • Good driving skills with a valid driver’s license

    Internal Sales Representatives

    Job Description

    • Develop and rebuild relationship (Customer Relationship Management - CRM) with designated customers by phone to sell parts and service offerings and create sales opportunities to meet company objectives and customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Inform customers by phone about any new dealer program.
    • Contact customers to present MANTRAC parts and services and answer all technical and commercial inquiries.
    • Participate in quotations preparation, terms of payment for his supervisor or manager’s review and approval.
    • Present relevant technical publications as appropriate, to customers and explain benefits / advantages of CATERPILLAR genuine parts versus non genuine and MANTRAC services versus local mechanics.
    • Provide weekly pre-call plan and report his daily activities and refers any difficulties/challenges to supervisor for action.
    • Assist with the solution and resolution of customer complaints / problems with MANTRAC.
    • Report all lost sales of parts and service to supervisor / manager and to ensure such lost sales are appropriately entered into dealer system (MANPRO).
    • Ensure there are no overdue debt on customers’ parts and service account.
    • Keep good control of customer list and keep updating customer profiles and population in MANCRM, PTOS or any existing dealer marketing information system.
    • Report any prime product sales leads to his / her supervisor, manager or the particular prime product manager.
    • Perform any other related duties as required by product support sales management.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in Engineering or equivalent.
    • At least 3 years experience in the industry (sales, marketing & technical experience).
    • Good written and spoken English.
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent leadership skills and ability to take initiative.
    • Good analytical and computer skills.
    • Having good selling skills is an advantage.
