    Finance Manager

    Job Description

    We are looking for a reliable Finance Manager who will lead the Finance Team. You will oversee everyday financial activities and provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on future financial plans. Your guidance will empower the company’s leaders to make informed decisions that align with the organisation’s long-term goals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and profitability. Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalising on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities. There is great career growth potential to become the CFO, Group CFO, and Executive Director.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitoring and managing overall function and effective departmental operations
    • Developing and managing plans for financial growth.
    • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget, and develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
    • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
    • Monitoring internal controls.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
    • Manage the yearly audit cycle to guarantee the timely issuance of annual financial statements
    • Keep track of cash-management initiatives
    • Controlling balance sheet and liquidity risk
    • All other additional duties as necessary

    Qualifications

    • Proven working experience as a Finance Manager and leading and developing a Team
    • Experience in Microfinance Bank is essential 
    • 7 years + proven experience in finance management
    • Advanced degree in Accounting
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
    • Experience with auditing and creating financial statements
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
    • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
    • Compliance oriented.
    • Familiarity with the industry or sector relevant to the organisation is a plus.

    Relationship Manager (SBO-DM)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new opportunities for revenue generation in the equity market.
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with institutional and retail clients.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies based on market analysis.
    • Provide expert advice on equity investment opportunities, market conditions, and risk management.
    • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their investment portfolios.
    • Inform clients of new investment opportunities within the stock market
    • Collaborate with research teams to provide valuable insights to clients.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
    • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.

    Qualifications

    Requirements and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA) are desirable.
    • Proven work experience in client relationship and sales manager within 

    Retail Sales

    • Private Banking 
    • In-depth knowledge of equity markets, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
    • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Currently a SBO - DM
