    Driver

    Job Description

    • Safely and responsibly operate a vehicle to transport the staff or guests to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
    • Maintain open and clear communication with the employer or designated point of contact regarding schedules, routes, and other related matters.
    • Reportany noticed faults, breakdowns, or part defects in the vehicle immediately and follow up until repair or replacement is perfectly done.
    • Daily monitoring of the vehicle condition and reporting any fault to Logistics Manager.
    • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil or coolant.
    • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes.
    • Ensureassigned vehicle documents are valid, complete, and up to date always.
    • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
    • Anticipate and avoid potential hazards on the road, adjusting driving style as necessary to ensure maximum safety.
    • Be alert and attentive to the needs of the passengers, providing assistance and support as required.
    • Provide updates on traffic conditions or other relevant information that may affect the journey.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's private information, conversations, and activities.
    • Driving of variety of vehicles, including, cars, buses and trucks.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with at least 3 years experience.
    • A valid driver's License.

    Linesman

    Description 

    • Install, repair, and maintain telephone and electrical power lines.
    • Climb poles and transmission towers to access equipment.
    • Inspect and test power lines and related equipment for damage or wear.
    • Use specialized equipment to detect and locate faults in power lines.
    • Replace or repair defective components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
    • Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
    • Respond to emergency calls for power outages or telephone service interruptions.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies.
    • Technical training or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.
    • Experience in fiber optics installation is a plus
    • Proven experience as a linesman or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and telecommunications.
    • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to the job.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Fibre Optics Technical Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical assistance in the installation, testing and maintenance of fiber optics cabling.
    • Pulling and stringing wire/cable on electric poles, laying cable in the ground where required.
    • Conduct fibre optic cable testing using power meters, OTDRs and other industry standard equipment.
    • Undertake periodic preventive maintenance activities and ensure effective fault management.
    • Conducting regular inspections of fibre links with the aim of locating and repairing any defects detected during the inspections.
    • Determine solutions to problems and issues that are preventing the fibre optic links from performing optimally.
    • Provide technical assistance in the installation, testing and maintenance of fiber optics cabling.

    Splicing Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Support the splicing, termination and testing of fiber optic cables in both outdoor and indoor settings
    • Maintain control of outside plant (OSP) activities surrounding the assigned work site(s)
    • Perform cable splicing/termination in accordance with industry standards.
    • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance to resolve signal problems.
    • Preparing fiber sheaths, splice and test individual fibers
    • Perform proper fibre management within fiber optic enclosures
    • Maintain the scope of work on the project and adhere to safety procedures.
    • Read and understand network splicing plans, and taking and maintaining accurate field notes.
    • Prepare engineering splicing field notes.
    • Interprete splice diagrams, buried underground, and aerial telecom facilities in records, on maps and in the field.
    • Make recommendations for changes in fiber assignments.
    • Adhere to instructions and specifications given by the Project Manager, OSP specilaist, Design Engineers and Supervisors.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO with 1 - 2 years experience.
    • Basic technical skills with a knack for problem solving and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to work at heights.
    • Ability to read and write in English.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with a highly motivated and innovative team.
    • Good team player, comfortable working with a highly diversified team.
