    Customer Service Officer

    Responsibilities
    Customer Interaction:

    • Greet and attend to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Handle customer inquiries regarding bank products, services, and policies.
    • Assist customers with account-related issues, including opening new accounts, updating information, and processing transactions.

    Issue Resolution:

    • Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments or supervisors when necessary.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been fully resolved.

    Product Promotion:

    • Educate customers on the bank's products and services, including loans, savings accounts, and other financial services.
    • Cross-sell bank products that meet customer needs and contribute to branch sales targets.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and complaints.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on customer service activities and feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all customer interactions.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other bank staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of customer service processes.

    Cash Officer / Fund Transfer Officer

    Job Description
    Cash Management:

    • Handle all cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and vault management.
    • Ensure daily balancing of cash and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
    • Monitor cash levels and manage cash flow to ensure availability for customer needs.
    • Prepare and submit daily cash position reports to management.

    Fund Transfers:

    • Process local and international fund transfers accurately and promptly.
    • Verify the authenticity and completeness of transfer instructions and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to fund transfers.
    • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to fund transfers in a timely manner.

    Customer Service:

    • Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their cash and fund transfer needs.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues regarding transactions and fund transfers.
    • Educate customers on bank services, especially regarding fund transfer processes.

    Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Adhere strictly to the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and report suspicious transactions or activities as per anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
    • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 0 - 2 years relevant work experience.

    Teller

    Responsibilities
    Transaction Processing:

    • Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
    • Verify and validate customer identification and transaction documents.
    • Ensure all transactions comply with the bank’s policies and procedures.

    Customer Service:

    • Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all customers.
    • Address customer inquiries and provide information on the bank’s products and services.
    • Assist customers with account-related issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department.

    Cash Management:

    • Manage cash levels in the teller drawer and ensure proper balancing at the end of each day.
    • Report any discrepancies or unusual transactions to the supervisor immediately.
    • Prepare and submit daily cash reports as required.

    Compliance and Security:

    • Adhere to all security protocols and procedures to safeguard the bank’s assets.
    • Identify and report any suspicious transactions or potential fraud in accordance with the bank’s anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

    Administrative Support:

    • Assist with the opening and closing of the branch as needed.
    • Support other bank staff with administrative tasks when necessary.
    • Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on banking regulations and best practices.
