    Head of Finance

    Job Purpose

    • As the Head of Finance, you are responsible for the overall financial integrity, operations, investing and working capital management of the organization.
    • You are accountable for the financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and to report accurate financial results.
    • The accountant will review and reconcile ledgers and financial statements and maintain banking relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiary and implement operational best practices.
    • Prepare daily reports to the GMD, Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debt and equity financing.
    • Review and reconcile ledgers and financial statements.
    • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
    • Devise and implement manual or computer-based system for general accounting
    • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
    • These reports include balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.
    • Formulating and review of finance policies and procedures
    • Direct and coordinate activities of other accountants performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
    • Regular training of accountants within the group
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all financial data is correctly captured and reported.
    • Audits and prepares reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement.
    • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications & Certifications

    • B.Sc in Accounting and a minimum of seven years’ experience
    • Professional certifications are an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • At least 3 years’ professional experience in the travel industry.

    Head of Sales

    Job Description

    • As the Head of Sales, your responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans.
    • Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets.
    • Head of Sales duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and acquire new customers and also ensure their profitability is maintained
    • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company
    • Supervise call plan of the Sales team through Business Development Managers
    • Provide accurate forecasts and ensure that all branch targets are met
    • Manage and lead the sales team in the different branches
    • Develop, establish and enforce goals, as well as policies and procedures for the sales team
    • Conduct weekly/monthly sales meeting and trainings
    • Deal with clients’ complaints as a matter of urgency in accordance with company policy
    • Define KRAs for the Account Officers in sync to the annual target provided
    • Conduct regular MPR (Monthly Performance Review)
    • Stay updated with recent market/industry trends, competitors & leading customer strategies
    • Facilitate sales team bonding / workshop
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
    • Set out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for the company in line with growth objectives
    • Analyze customer research, the market and competitor data and making recommendations that drive the growth of the brand
    • Lead all marketing activities and measuring performance through developing appropriate marketing metrics
    • Maintain, develop, and research potential new strategic relationships within the sector to help drive the growth of the brand
    • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine the effectiveness
    • Carry out any other related tasks as required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a B.Sc. in Business Management or related field; an M.Sc. or MBA is an added advantage
    • Professional qualifications/certifications are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of demonstrated involvement working in a supervisory role for direct sales
    • Travel experience and/or luxury jet travel experience is highly preferred.

    Legal Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Legal Manager ensures Finchglow Holdings comply with Legal requirements and mitigates against litigation risks and manages legal risks by overseeing contract management, regulatory compliance, and litigation. You will provide strategic legal advice, lead the legal team, and support senior management in achieving organizational goals while safeguarding the company’s interests.

    Key Responsibilities
    Legal Oversight and Compliance:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies and procedures to support legal and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations.

    Contract Management:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, service agreements, and partnerships.
    • Manage and oversee the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to execution and renewal.
    • Implement and oversee a contract management system to streamline processes and ensure compliance. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Advise on legal risk management strategies and best practices to minimize exposure.
    • Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary and manage relationships with external law firms.

    Litigation Management:

    • Oversee and manage ongoing litigation and dispute resolution processes.
    • Develop strategies for managing and resolving legal disputes and potential claims.
    • Work closely with external counsel and manage litigation budgets and documentation. Advisory Role:
    • Provide legal advice and support to senior management and other departments on various legal issues.
    • Assist in shaping company policies and strategic initiatives from a legal perspective.
    • Offer training and guidance to staff on legal issues and compliance matters.

    Documentation and Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation and records.
    • Ensure proper filing, storage, and retrieval of legal documents in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive database of legal documents and contracts.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the legal team, including paralegals and junior legal staff.
    • Assign tasks and manage workflow within the legal department.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Strategic Planning:
    • Participate in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plans from a legal perspective.
    • Analyze and interpret legal trends and their impact on the company’s business strategy.

    Qualification / Certification

    • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from an accredited law school.
    • Licensure: Licensed to practice law in Nigeria.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a legal management role, preferably within a corporate environment.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Extensive knowledge of corporate law, contract law, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
    • Proven ability to manage complex legal projects and lead a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • High ethical standards and integrity.
