    Sales and Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    The Sales and Marketing Manager or the Ideal Candidate must be a young and smart professional with relevant experience in a reputable organization, and has a combination of Sales & Marketing experience

     Responsibilities

    The Ideal Candidate shall be responsible and oversee the following functions:

    • Promoting the company's existing brands and products to the market.
    • Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
    • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
    • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
    • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
    • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
    • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
    • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
    • 5 years’ experience in marketing and sales.
    • Experience in management may be advantageous.
    • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
    • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures

    Chief Financial Officer

    Job Description
    Summary

    To develop and execute finance strategies, policies and plan that include compliance with all standard statutory policies; to perform effective risk management and must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
    • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management team, OPERATION AND COMMERCIAL DIRECTORS
    • Advising on long term business and financial planning.
    • Identify and address financial risk of the company.

    DELIVERS TIMELY FINANCIAL REPORTS

    • Generating accurate information and analysis from the financial and operational day-to-day transactions in line with agreed timelines
    • Developing and managing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that guarantees a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
    • Optimize the management of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance the company’s cash position.
    • Overseeing the company’s budgeting process & ensuring full implementation and monitoring of the agreed budget.
    • Implement accounting standards, process and disciplines to ensure reliable/accurate and timely delivery of required management information.
    • Drive the company's financial planning, management, and reporting
    • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
    • Provide management with timely, complete and accurate financial information for business decision-making.
    • Co-ordinate and manage the budgets and forecasting process
    • Conduct business performance analysis and interpretation
    • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
    • Manage the external audit relationship
    • Optimize the business tax liabilities and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
    • Implement appropriate financial controls
    • Identify key risks and implement internal risk management framework
    • Manage the internal audit and risk management relationships
    • An adviser to the MD and Board of Directors on how the allocation of resources to ensure stability and growth.
    • Investor reporting and engagement.

    Qualifications
    Education /Key outputs

    • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a plus
    • ACCA/ICAN is a plus
    • Business financial information management
    • Financial planning and strategy
    • Annual budgets/forecasts and strategic plans
    • Financial reporting for internal and external purposes
    • Tax management
    • Risk Management and Corporate Governance
    • Information Management System

    Additional Information
    Qualities /Requirement  

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years’ experience at CFO level (ideally in an FMCG, distribution industry)
    • Good financial skills, particularly IFRS and standard costing principles.
    • Proven track record in the development and implementation of broad financial, auditing and accounting strategies.
    • Should be very knowledgeable about financial reporting, financial strategy.
    • Previous experience in a reputable accounting or audit firm is highly desired
    • Understands budgeting, forecasting and a financial planner
    • Experience in retail industry and hospitality.
