    Key Account Manager Home Category

    Job Objective

    As Key Account Manager, you will have the end-to-end responsibility ofthe customer experience and growth of the key vendors assigned to you. Your role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, and manage key vendors in our marketplace. Constant interface with the Commercial operations, Vendor experience &
    Marketing team.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure continuous growth of our existing business by owning pricing and promotions strategy, working with marketing teams to improve product content and visibility; and managing stock availability by coordinating teams across the business to bring the product to the customer.
    • Complete Sales performance of the 3c’s Categories, vendors, merchant management and monitoring of sales strategies with a view to increasing the Business unit’s Net Margin Position (NMP) & Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
    • Customer acquisition through Value Offering, Sales Campaign Management, etc.
    • Create and present strategic insights for the Business unit to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization.
    • Analyze & Present post – promotion analysis for retail and Marketplace, quantifying impact to brand and category.
    • Define and optimize curation/assortment selection strategy for your portfolio ensuring relevance of selection/styling to optimize revenues and sales velocity.
    • Support product and content creation process to increase assortment live.
    • Plan and maintain constant stock availability.
    • Trend Spotting: Should be able to identify broader trends and fill category gaps
    • Build weekly marketing plan, contribute determining which products/subcategories will be promoted on website and through all marketing channels (Newsletters, Facebook, etc).
    • Develop strong analytics to evaluate daily/weekly/monthly performance and optimize further marketing, pricing, and product selection.

    Global Content Marketing Manager

    He will focus on providing African insights to Chinese sellers, and help Jumia Global develop its brand awareness across China:

    • Conduct offline interviews with local customers and local commercial teams;
    • Independently take videos & edit videos weekly; manage Jumia Global video account;
    • Plan and execute quality content for all JG marketing events, articles, material;
    • Collaborate with teams across countries to produce content for each country;
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure quality visuals for the content.

    Requirement

    • Skillful in video shooting and editing independently;
    • Passion for social media scene and trends; popular video blogger is a plus;
    • Excellent communication skills;

    AP Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    Payment Processing and Accounting:

    • Manage advance consignment payment processing to ensure timely and
      accurate payouts.
    • Handle Jforce payout processing and accounting, ensuring all transactions are
      correctly recorded.
    • Manage Marketplace payout processing to ensure vendor get payments in a
      timely manner.
    • Handle repayment of failed/unprocessed payouts for Jforce and Marketplace
      vendors and manual booking in NAV.
    • Manage 3PL invoice payment processing
    • Manage non-trade invoice payment processing

    Reconciliation and Analysis:

    • Conduct advance consignment sales and inventory analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
    • Monitor marketplace vendors debit balances and take appropriate actions to reduce the debit balance
    • Flag suspicious vendors with payouts for further investigation.
    • Analyze failed payments for local vendors, determine reasons for failure, and reprocess payouts with updated bank details.
    • Conduct account reconciliation for local vendors, resolving payment discrepancies and vendor issues.
    • Prepare local vendors offset analysis reports to clear negative balances with withheld payouts.
    • Analyze overdue payouts for local vendors, determine reasons for delays, and reprocess overdue payments.

    Data Management and Reconciliation:

    • Perform manual reconciliation and upload missing transactions on the Seller Cent
    • Map suspicious vendors with substores having a credit balance to enable offset.
    • Manage RTV uploads, claims verifications, and approvals.

    Vendor and Penalty Management:

    • Upload penalties, deductions, and other applicable transactions in RING
    • Manage value-added services (VAS), including uploads, refunds, and approvals.
    • Confirm vendor payments and upload on Ring.
    • Reconcile vendor promises between OMS and Salesforce.
    • Handle VXP penalty management, including uploads, claims verification, and reversals.
    • Manage wrongly forfeited claims, including verification, uploads, and rejections.

    Warehouse Security Specialist

    The Warehouse Security Associate is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse, its contents, and its personnel. This role involves monitoring security systems, patrolling the premises, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Security Monitoring:

      • Operate and monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms.
      • Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse to ensure security and safety standards are met.
      • Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering the facility.
    2. Incident Response:

      • Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and other emergencies.
      • Report security incidents to the Warehouse Security Executive and document details accurately.

    3. Asset Protection:

      • Ensure the protection of high and low value goods within the warehouse.
      • Implement measures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
      • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential security risks.
    4. Collaboration and Communication:

      • Work closely with warehouse staff and management to address security concerns.
      • Provide security updates and reports as needed.
      • Promote a culture of security awareness among warehouse employees.
    5. Compliance:

      • Adhere to all security policies, protocols, and procedures.
      • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding security.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: HND, BSC in security or related fields; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
    • Experience: 3 - 5 Years Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations effectively.
      • Basic knowledge of security systems and technology.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
