    Accountant

    Job Brief

    Accountant is responsible for coordinating daily accounting activities, preparing and maintaining financial statements.

    • Oversee the accounting of the company’s retail stores
    • Provide support for ad-hoc requests from Management
    • Understand, propose and independently establish internal control enhancements
    • Maintain documentation for all work product, particularly month end closing work papers
    • Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
    • Prepare detailed account reconciliations and accurate journal entries posted into the financial systems
    • Determine accuracy of balances, figures, calculations, postings, investigate and reconcile any differences
    • Analyze, reconcile and post journal entries assigned to accounts
    • Assemble, analyze and prepare formal summaries of activity in specific financial accounts.
    • Supporting financial and tax audit requests for information and insight
    • Process improvement & make recommendations
    • Observe and audit selected store inventories on sight
    • Reconciliation, updating, reporting, booking and other activities related to retail inventory process including research and follow-up on store physical inventory discrepancies
    • Monthly review and booking of retail inventory adjustments
    • Resolve store in-transit/inventory problems
    • Monthly reconciliation of book to perpetual inventory and monthly review of store inventory accounts.
    • Responsible for assigned income and receivable accounts, including invoicing, account reconciliations, process documentation and improvement, reporting, and communications with internal and external business partners
    • Perform various month-end journal entries
    • Other duties as assigned, including monthly and designated reporting
    • Proactively interact with other associates to resolve issues and/or problems
    • Review of bank reconciliations and recurring cash entries
    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting
    • Assists with month-end close and financial reporting
    • Assist with routine accounting functions and related activities

    Requirements

    • Knowledge and 3-4 years Experience in retail accounting
    • Attention to details
    • Accounting/Finance degree
    • ICAN/ACCA certification
    • Should possess strong multi-tasking skills, excellent oral communication skills and the ability to perform consistently, even under pressure.

    • We are looking for a Marketing Associate to drive brand performance, grow the business by using relevant insights to activate customer engagement that ultimately increases sales performance.
    • The Marketing Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies that bolsters the brand’s reputation while serving as business partner to support teams to achieve and exceed set targets.

    • Monitor and track performance of campaigns and initiatives.
    • Identify and prioritise opportunities and moments that matter and positively impacts customer experience, while working with channel leads to design ways to improve customer experience.

    Requirements

    • Proven 3-4 years work experience as a Marketing Associate or similar role in an e-commerce establishment.
    • Strategic and creative self-starter with can-do attitude.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms
    • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
    • Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics, graphics and Google Adwords
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Experience of writing, editing and proofreading with keen attention for detail.

    Inventory Assistant

    Job Description

    • Counts store inventory for official store records.
    • Maintain logs of all products and supplies.
    • Keep up-to-date on store, shelves and order availability
    • Check actual store inventory against computerized records.
    • Report any discrepancies in inventory records to store manager.

    • Assist in unloading inventory from delivery truck.
