    Drilling / Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III

    Main Functions

    • Comment and provide advice on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures.
    • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Company representative for interfacing with subsea tree, hangers, and wellhead interfacing and subsea pressure control equipment (e.g., subsea BOPs, SSTT, CWOR, LWI) for subsea drilling, completion, and/or well interventions during planning and execution phases.
    • Lead in coordinating surface integrity tests (SITs), witnessing any recertification, factory acceptance and extended factory acceptance testing (FAT / EFAT).
    • Coordinating subsea equipment & ROV aspects of drilling, completions, and/or well intervention risk assessments
    • Prepare brownfield survey and subsea equipment (e.g., trees, hangers, wellheads, subsea BOPs, SSTT / landing strings, CWOR, LWI) deployment and retrieval procedures, ROV tooling and related procedures.
    • Monitor subsea equipment service provider, ROV service provider, provide project management support and troubleshooting of subsea pressure control equipment issues

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a closely related position
    • Extensive knowledge of In-depth understanding of subsea completion, workover and light well intervention units (e.g. semi submersibles, jack ups and multipurpose vessels)
    • Develops / manages project interfaces (e.g. subsea simultaneous drilling and production procedures, interfaces with other subsea systems)
    • Keeps abreast of subsea completions and workover techniques and technology progress within EM and industry, applies emerging technology and practices where appropriate and can use Tech Set applications effectively
    • Experienced in the areas of subsea system hydraulic modeling, well surveillance, well testing operations, multiphase metering, subsea production / artificial lift optimization (e.g. subsea booster pumps, gas lift and riser lift) and flow assurance
    • Very strong demonstrated organizational and technical judgment skills
    • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
    • Demonstrated skills to positively influence drilling workforce - employees and contractors
    • Exceptional skills in MS Office suite of software programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical/business communications
    • Ability to work and communicate in international locales and with diverse cultures
    • Relevant industry experience (offshore / onshore drilling activities, for example).
    • Maintains a high degree of ethical conduct.
    • Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities.
    • Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods.
    • Highly experienced in wellwork, workovers and well interventions.

    Marine Advisor III

    Main Function

    • Works to assure the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers.
    • This will include assisting with the management and oversight of all associated critical contractors including tug, and port service providers.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspection of marine equipment onboard rig(s)
    • Inspection of D&C support vessels and well intervention vessel
    • Inspection of D&C geotechnical and geophysical vessels
    • Rigless completion marine activities
    • Well intervention vessel move activities.

    Qualifications

    • Prior marine experience as a senior officer position - required
    • Master Mariners license - required
    • Experience in the company operations organization – preferred
    • University degree or advanced degree required
    • Have led a minimum of 20 (ten) Jack Up rig moves at platform operations
    • Have extensive experience in performing rig inspection for marine related equipment.
    • Have experience in performing inspections for drilling support vessels such as Anchor Handling Tug and Supply (AHTS), Straight Supply Vessel (SSV), Production Supply Vessel (PSV), Geo-Technical vessel, Geo-physical vessel, Well Intervention Vessel, etc.
    • Experience in rig move operations for Tender Assisted Drilling Rig (TADR), Semi-Submersible, Drillship will be an advantage.
    • Have experience in leading drilling marine spread offshore.

    • Expert knowledge of current large tanker applied mooring operations and best practices
    • Extensive knowledge of applied Operations Integrity Systems, specifically OIMS 8-1

    Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III

    Job Summary

    • Provide functional guidance to and coordinate Drill Team Quality Representative (DTQR) network activities.
    • Ensure DTQRs are oriented to the Drilling Quality Management System and have the necessary tools and support needed to achieve Drill Team objectives.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3 will:

    • Develop Equipment Receiving Inspection Program
    • Develop Equipment Preventative Maintenance, Inspection and Test Program
    • Develop Pre-Job Service Tool & Equipment Inspections and Preparations
    • Develop Inventory Maintenance Inspections
    • Report to Drill Team Management on Contractors Performance
    • Facilitate Contractor Key Performance Indicators
    • Educate Drill Team Personnel in Quality Management System Requirements

    Skills and Qualifications

    • B.Sc Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution
    • Previous experience in a closely related position
    • Experience in oilfield related work
    • Thorough knowledge of sound quality assurance practices. Abreast of best practices and latest technology in meeting minimum industry standards and specifications (such as API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), etc.) for manufacturing, inspecting, transporting, installing, maintaining and storing oilfield equipment.
    • Extensive knowledge of ASNT inspection practices.
    • Extensive knowledge of T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
    • Completion of ISO 9001 Lead Course
    • Experience and extensive knowledge of oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
    • Experience with Rig Equipment and related operations.
    • Good self-motivation and ability to influence others without authority (Drill Team, Quality Team, and Service Providers).
    • Strong organizational skills (programs, priorities, sharing/balancing the load).
    • Good business writing and computer software skills.
    • The preferred candidate should be able to provide verifiable experience in managing a and training a team of quality reps in the oil and gas industry.

    Subsea Hardware Engineer III

    Main Functions

    • Develop subsea hardware selection justification documents, product specifications, and other project specific documents and drawings including tree and manifold P&ID’s.
    • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the project's goals, objectives, and procedures.

    Tasks & Responsibilities
    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and Responsibilities, Level 3:

    • Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests
    • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns
    • Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locations
    • Drives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design
    • Support internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by Supervisor
    • Participate in pre-commissioning, system integration testing, installation, and commissioning activities of subsea hardware equipment.
    • Participate in troubleshooting equipment problems with vendors, installation contractors, and other client operating affiliates.
    • Promote safety in all project aspects of vendor manufacturing assembly, testing, installation, and operations.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • B.Sc or M.Sc Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Electrical / Civil / Chemical Engineering
    • Working knowledge of subsea hardware equipment, including horizontal and vertical trees, jumpers, manifolds, connection systems, and valves, as well as qualification, testing, and installation methods.
    • Be familiar with and have experience applying API 6A and 17D, and other relevant API, ISO, and ASME subsea hardware and piping standards.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

    Additional Skills:

    • Provides direct and specific design engineering support in the Pipeline & Subsea Engineering area to assigned project teams within the Global Projects, Global Projects Delivery, Nigeria. Performs the assigned technical tasks in a format agreed upon between the Project Manager (PM) and the Production Engineering Manager (PEM). Ensures that the tasks can be completed within the framework of EMCAPs and within an agreed timeframe. Identifies, defines, and performs the assigned tasks, including finalizing pre-requisite tasks or information. Updates and reports the progress of deliverables to the PM and DESM on a regular basis.
    • Coordinates / oversees design contractor activities in the process discipline area for assigned projects.
    • Continually assesses refinements/changes and recommends updates for the maintenance of specifications and standards used in the Projects Department including the Global Practices (GP), Design Management Manual (DMM) and the Design Execution References (DER). Responsible for coordinating reviews, endorsement, and final approval for changes to these specifications and guidelines using Projects' MoC procedures.
    • Ensures that all relevant aspects of the quality assurance and control (QA/QC) programs and procedures are strictly followed in the performance of all work. Ensures the integration of the requirements of the Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) in all work, tasks or deliverables.
    • Follows and implements the established project objectives and strategies in all work. This includes maintaining MPN production at established levels as well as providing safe, economic, and efficient proposals to enhance hydrocarbon recovery or to increase associated facility integrity.
    • Performs ad hoc medium - and long-term technical design engineering studies aimed at improving project engineering effectiveness, including risk, constructability, design and execution assessments.
    • Provides continual interface with external departments, especially Loss Prevention, Development Planning, Facilities Engineering, Facilities Operations Technical, and all core DW & JV Operations groups.
    • When assigned the role of Lead Design Engineer (LDE) for a specific design engineering services Work Order, represents MPN, coordinates design activities and interfaces with Project Engineer (PE) to align design work with project objectives.
