    Head, Marketing and Membership

    Job Description

    • This role will be responsible for driving the membership and marketing strategies forward and getting the most out of an established and ambitious team.

    Job Responsibilitie
    Marketing and Communications:

    • Develop and oversee implementation of comprehensive marketing campaigns and promotions to support a wide variety of associations programs, publications and services to grow revenue
    • Develop outreach and recruitment marketing materials and strategies to attract new members and ensure membership renewal of current members.
    • Market the products and services of the association within and outside Nigeria.
    • Constantly work with Research to conduct marketing research and intelligence on all target market segments and competitors.
    • Create a positive brand for the Association.
    • Relate with external Press and print media and ensure effective publicity.
    • Prepare and present special reports for Executive Council.
    • Attend regularly scheduled committee meetings

    Membership Relations and Support:

    • Serve as membership expert, providing support for members and volunteers and responding to all general enquiries
    • Attend to members’ requests and enquiries promptly.
    • Analyze membership data and identify trends and opportunities to increase membership and retention.
    • Ensure maintenance of Membership Registers/ Database
    • Coordinate and supervise the activities of customer service staff.
    • Resolve customers’ complaints, resentments and fears.
    • Monitor and minimize turn-around time.
    • Promote value of membership, including communities of practice and continuing education and networking opportunities.
    • Ensure that staff comply with all regulations and rules and behave in a socially responsible manner
    • Update information on walk-in clients and phone enquiries.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • A minimum of First Degree in any discipline.
    • A related professional qualification or MSc or MBA and financial industry experience will be an added Advantage
    • Marketing or membership services experience of five (5) years.
    • Managed a commercial membership scheme and increased member numbers
    • Experience leading an organizational marketing strategy

    Head, Account and Administration

    Job Summary

    • The role will be responsible for management of the Accounting, Budgeting and some Human Resources functions. Manage the implementation of policies and procedures, and goals and objectives of these functions.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise and Coordinate Units of the Department:Financial Control, Fixed Asset Register, Sundry Debtors, Junior Staff and Officers’ Salaries; Staff Salaries & Payroll Administration; Pension; Statutory returns.
    • Monitor, report and make recommendations to Management on the Performance.
    • Prepare management accounts.
    • Prepare daily activity report.
    • Maintain fixed asset register.
    • Reconcile transactions.
    • Verify interest payments on deposits
    • Manage disbursement of Stationery.
    • Handle assets insurance.
    • Ensure cash control.
    • Provide human resources support function
    • Actively participate at Committee meetings.
    • Ensure that staff complies with all regulations and rules and behaves in a socially responsible manner.
    • Analyze change and advise accordingly
    • Formulate strategic and long-term business plans
    • Research and report on factors influencing business performance
    • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
    • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
    • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the tax authorities
    • Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
    • Manage budgets
    • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
    • Monitor and minimize turn-around time.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • A minimum of First Degree in any of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Business Management / Admin, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics.
    • A related professional qualification/ Masters degree and financial industry experience will be an added advantage
    • Financial accounting experience of at least, five (5) years
    • Ability to Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines

    Head, Exams and Record

    Job Objective

    • The role will be responsible for administering all aspects of examinations and certification processes; ensuring the standards, validity, and fairness of curriculum and exam procedures; and working with partners responsible for setting, marking, and reviewing questions and question papers.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the operational management of the central examinations team.
    • Enter students for examinations.
    • Oversee the conduct of examinations and ensure full compliance with examination.
    • Collect and collate achievement data to enable the association to measure performance of candidates
    • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with designated examination partners and be responsible to them for the administration of their procedures.
    • Monitor information received from the examining partners and take follow-up action to ensure that the association complies with new or revised requirements.
    • Disseminate information to staff and students to ensure that they are aware, to protect the association’s corporate image.
    • Maintain accurate up-to-date records of examination entries, timetables, attendance, results and achievement data, using electronic data systems to ensure efficient and effective management and reporting of data.
    • Work with relevant committees of the association to ensure standards
    • Perform any other duty assigned by the executive secretary.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in any discipline.
    • Master’s Degree or professional qualification would be added advantage
    • At least, five years’ experience in teaching and examinations

    Salary
