    Transport Sales Coordinator

    Industry/Sector:  Transportation (Logistics & Haulage Sales)

    Location:  Assese- Ibafo(Lagos)
    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the sales and operation of the Transport Department for their own fleet.
    • Sells haulage offers to new and existing clients, includes ex-port, ex-work, ex-warehouse haulage services required by various Import/export traders and manufacturing unit.
    •  Consults with assigned clients to understand their distribution networks and determines the transport requirement to support the haulage of various cargo types.
    • Serves as liaison with internal and external partners for daily operational activities
    • Entrusted to liaise with different agencies at Nigeria ports to complete the E-call up protocols for timely and safe entry of own fleet for loading or delivery within port terminals.
    • Ensures close supervision of loading along with driver, generates waybill/DO with related cargo supportings and tracks the entire haulage activity till the cargo is delivered.
    • Supervises safe and scientific way to load various cargo keeping health, safety, security and environment as major concern always.
    • Proactively supports and informs the customer service lead with daily Loading reports.
    • Coaches and train company drivers about route, lead time and ethical manners.
    • Maintains good rapport and understanding with clients.
    • Root cause analysis and problem resolution for all haulage operations. Review current processes for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • BSc./ HND in any related field.
    • BSc./ HND in any logistics related field is a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years cognate work experience.
    • Must have a vast knowledge of transport and logistics, Retail experience.
    • Sales and operations experience is a plus.
    • Ability to treat information, data and records confidentially.
    • Excellent communication skills: Good interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
    • Numerical/ Analytical skill.
    • A self-starter, displays high ethical standards.

    Transport Operations Supervisor

    Industry/Sector:  Transportation (Logistics & Haulage Sales)

    Location:  Assese- Ibafo(Lagos)
    Job Responsibilities:

    • Track company vehicles locations with GPS system(s)
    • Install and monitor company vehicles tracking devices
    • Monitor drivers performance
    • Ensure strict compliance with company regulation by drivers
    • Identify on-road exceptions and take immediate remedial action(s)
    • Liaise with drivers, operations personnel and management on tracking activities
    • Develop and present daily management tracking reports
    • Initiate effective transport policies for effective tracking and relative resources management
    • Ensure observance of road safety standards: ensure company vehicles are used in accordance with established rules and regulations and that vehicle usage data is correctly recorded.
    • Propose improvement on existing transport processes, systems and tools.
    • Track vehicle fuel usage and consumption rate: ensure that potential problems or fuel misuse are raised to management.
    • Arrange for training, re-training and re-certification of drivers with registration and re-certification of vehicles.
    • Collect vehicle logs from the field and review for accuracy. Discuss problems with logs with drivers and train new drivers on how to properly fill in vehicle logs
    • Collect daily and weekly vehicle checklists, verify their accuracy, and work with drivers to correct any problems
    • Send daily updated reports to client and transport management team
    • Ensure proper filing and preservation of the office documents, ATLs, Dos, Purchase receipts
    • Any additional job/work allotted from time to time by Transport head and Business head.

    Job Requirements:

    • BSc/HND in any relevant field
    • Minimum of 3 years cognate work experience
    • Computer literate with advanced work knowledge in the use of Microsoft office tools
    • Good geographical knowledge of Nigeria.
    • Road transport background is needed.
    • Ability to treat information, data and records confidentially.
    • Excellent communication skills: Good interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
    • Numerical/ Analytical skill.
    • A self-starter.

    Accountant

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all accounting transactions; such as Purchasing, Sales,
    • Handle Bank / Cash Receipts & Bank / Cash Payments
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable for Plant and at Group Level
    • Stock taking and Valuation
    • Handle Statutory payments (NSITF; VAT; Pension etc)
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Import LC’s Reconciliation
    • Customer or Supplier Reconciliations
    • Payroll Accounting
    • And any other assigned task

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
    • Must be a chartered accountant with ICAN, ACA/ACCA
    • 1-3 years’ work experience.
    • Work experience as an Accountant
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
    • Experience with general ledger functions
    • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

    Account Manager

    Industry: FMCG

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide managerial and oversight for all accounting functions
    • Provide direction to all accounting staff under your supervision.
    • Oversight include monitoring purchases compared to the budget, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and capital expenditures/equipment.
    • Reconciliation of all cash accounts and monitoring of cash receipts and disbursements.
    • Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
    • Overseeing the maintenance and reconciliation of Goods Receipts/ Invoice Receipt Account.
    • Create and enhance financial policies and procedures across the accounting department as well as the wider Finance department.

    Required Qualification and Experience

    • First Degree must be in Accounting
    • Must have Manufacturing Industry Background
    • Minimum of 3 years’ core experience in accounting/management account
    • Excellent strategic planning skills.
    • Ability to work independently and highly meticulous.
    • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
    • Knowledge of Oracle Financials or any other financial software.
