    Driver

    Job Description

    • Follow all traffic laws
    • Drive defensively to ensure safety
    • Keep all windows in the car spotless
    • Keep the interior of the car spotless
    • Make sure there is always enough gas to get to the destination
    • Keep accurate count of gas usage, miles, and other data
    • Ensure that car maintenance is taken care of
    • Ensure validity of vehicle documents at all times
    • Inform appropriate Officer of the need to renew vehicle documents 2 weeks before expiration, and again a week before expiration if not yet effected
    • Accurately follow the correct routes
    • Carry out any other lawful tasks that may be assigned by management in the interest of the role and organization.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of SSCE
    • Valid driver's license
    • Must have all requirements for drivers in Lagos
    • Have been driving for at least 7 years
    • Great time management skills
    • Great customer attitude and attentiveness
    • Ability to operate a vehicle for 8 hours
    • Physically able to lift 50 pounds
    • Open to working nights and weekends
    • Great organizational skills
    • Other Non-Negotiable Requirements:
    • Must be able to drive Manual Vehicles
    • Must be between the ages of 35 and 50 years old as at last birthday
    • Must be willing to travel inter-state at short notice
    • Must be able to read and write

    Cleaner

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Cleaning:

    • Perform cleaning functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum-cleaning, and polishing.
    • Clean surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets, curtains, washroom towels consistently.
    • Keep office rooms, kitchen, and toilets clean and hygienic.
    • Maintain and clean all cleaning equipment utilized.
    • Empty and clean wastepaper baskets; transporting waste material to designated collection points.
    • Ensure that the office compound is clean.
    • Always ensure cleanliness of facilities and report any instances of damage and mismanagement to the Admin Manager.
    • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed by all staff and visitors.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
    • Receive and serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
    • Prepare refreshments for visitors and for staff during meetings.
    • Arrange for meetings by securing refreshments.
    • Scanning, photocopying, and filing documents.
    • Supporting departmental staff by conducting research and compiling data upon request.
    • Managing inventory of office supplies, by making requisitions for kitchen sundries and office stationery monthly and ensuring adequate stock. Submit requests for all utilities needed early to the Admin Manager.
    • Ensure that the office is constantly running with enough toiletries, washroom, general office (e.g., door mats and dusters) and kitchen accessories.
    • Report all deficiencies and faults in area of operation to Admin Manager in due time.
    • Assist with general filling.
    • Assists with printing photocopying and preparation of materials needed for training, meetings, seminars/ workshop.
    • Make adjustments and conduct minor repairs.
    • Perform light accounting duties as requested by Finance staff.
    • Accountable for all office equipment to him/her.
    • Any other general administrative duties as will be assigned from time to time.

    Logistics:

    • Assist in handling logistics as directed by the Admin Manager or senior staff.
    • Receive and sort office letter/deliveries/couriers.
    • Distributing office letters to partner institutions.
    • Receiving office letters, opening, sorting, and distributing to the appropriate staff.
    • Assist in scheduling travel arrangements for staff.

    Education and Qualifications

    • Completion of at least Secondary education.
    • At least one year working experience in a similar position.
    • Ability to work with computers.
    • Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
    • Secretarial/ office management background will be an added advantage
    • Proficient in spoken and written English.

    Patrol/Dispatch Rider

    Requirements

    • Good knowledge of Lagos Island and mainland
    • Current riders permit
    • Good knowledge of security supervisory role with evidence
    • Minimum of SSCE
    • Computer literate
    • Good eyesight and ability to ride on highways
    • Flexible and must be able to function in other security duties

    Descriptions/Responsibilities:

    • Transport and receive items quickly by motorcycle.
    • Conduct confidential and rigorous vetting enquiries on behalf of the Company in support of the company’s vetting policies.
    • To conduct spot-checks on individuals and monitor compliance with vetting policies within the organization.
    • To device, develop and maintain a programme of vetting for all staff.
    • All other related duties.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
    •  Age: between 25 – 45 years

    Vetting / Patrol Supervisor

    • Supervision and monitoring of security operatives through patrolling of various locations.
    • Attend to client complaint and meet the client’s target daily.
    • Making enquiries from clients about operatives performance, attitudes and behaviours
    • Deployment/education of new guards on JD and Post orders of their allocated beats.
    • Enrich employee relations and resolve conflict with clients or amongst security operatives
    • Identify and mitigate risk at client’s premises and recommend appropriately in writing with thorough follow up.
    • Identify, investigate and proffer solutions to security lapses in writing and follow up
    • Write security report /daily reporting of observation in the line of duty to ensure proper documentation and facilitate review for action.
    • Work with other patrol supervisors as a team to achieve objectives jointly; giving support and deputizing for other patrol supervisors when necessary.
    • Oversee activities of operatives deployed and enforcing compliance on acceptable standards and on the client’s peculiarity and needs.
    • Daily review of operational matters with a view to proffering effective and efficient innovations/solutions.
    • Training the operational chain on professional industrial security practices in line with crime/criminality activities in the country.
    • Monitor and mentor subordinates.
    • Communicate any security matter to, and through appropriate channels in writing.
    • Create relationship synergies between clients and the company as well as sustain a trustful working environment.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by IMSS Management.

    Requirements

    • HND or B.Sc Degree in any Management course or relevant studies
    • Must possess 2 - 4 years’ experience in security operations
    • Security professional certification would be an added advantage
    • Must be able to ride bike
    • Must have no criminal record
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Must have a current ride permit/driver’s license
    • Must possess good communication skills and ability to manage people effectively
    • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suites, Ms word,Ms excel
    • Must know the basics of security operations e.g. post orders, location orders, access control measures etc
    • Must know how to enforce compliance
    • Must have a functional Android phone and valid phone number
    • Must be disciplined and have a keen eyes for details.
    • Must have a good knowledge of road network
    • Must be client oriented.

    Control Room Officer

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Perform Control Room daily operations with high integrity and efficiency.
    • Monitor CCTV during the shift and report any unusual activity to Security Manager Respond promptly to the radio checks, made by the staff and keep accurate records of all communication. Also prepare Radio Checks Report for SM, HRM, GM and PC.
    • Keep record of staff members, going on visits & keep a record of any incidents and report these to the SM, GM and PC.
    • Monitor Vehicle and Staff movements via CCTV and report any alarm activation to the Duty Security officer and Superiors.
    • Inform Security Manager of any Security related incident. Instigate telephone Tree where directed to do so.
    • Monitor the security situation and detail the RRV to prove routes and advise on the road status.
    • Manage the main switchboard, answer all the calls courteously and direct them to the right department promptly and courteously.
    • Prepare and manage extension lists and other duty officers’ lists on weekly basis.
    • Manage Store and inventories record management.
    • Collect and enter Operatives details in respective database and update multiple databases used in daily operations of Control Room. Also prepare daily reports for staffs concerned.
    • Take important messages for staff mainly of Headquarter and delivering such messages on priority bases without any delay, when staff are off duties.
    • Make arrangements for staff clearance, coordinating with Security Supervisor/Police and keep the Security Duty officer informed.
    • Receive and distribute all the incoming mail from post room and maintain the mail log books. Sort out unmarked mail to the relevant sections/individuals.
    • Deal with in & out of office hours IMSS Headquarters Cases. Record their details and inform the relevant duty officers accordingly.
    • Any other duty as directed by the duty SM, GM, HRM and the PC.

    Desirable:

    • Good standard of oral and written in English
    • Ability to use the Microsoft Office Package especially MSWord, MS Outlook and MS Excel
    • Ability to work long straight hours
