    Loan Monitoring Officer

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and analyze the performance of all loans in the portfolio.
    • Identify and track delinquent accounts to minimize losses.
    • Maintain accurate records of all loan accounts.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments of the loan portfolio.
    • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare detailed reports on loan portfolio status for senior management.
    • Analyze trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
    • Develop and implement metrics to monitor loan performance.
    • Communicate with borrowers to ensure timely loan repayments.
    • Resolve issues related to loan payments and account status.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive borrower relationships.
    • Ensure all loan documentation is complete and accurate.
    • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes.
    • Implement new procedures to enhance loan monitoring efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Professional certification in risk management or accounting is a plus.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in loan monitoring, credit control, or a similar role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and loan management software.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in the financial services industry.
    • Knowledge of loan management systems and financial analysis tools.
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

    Risk Underwriting Officer

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing data evaluation on information retrieved from loan applications.
    • Consultation with Loan Officers following meetings with potential clients
    • Conducting risk assessments on potential clients based on previous borrowing history, credit rating, industry experience and other factors
    • Requesting additional information from Loan Officers when appropriate
    • Render application decisions based on consultations with supervisory underwriter and upper management
    • Preparing reports detailing risk assessment findings and other data that contribute to lending decisions

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Professional certification in risk management or accounting is a plus.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Risk underwriting, Credit Analysis, or a similar role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Telesales Officer

    • Contacting potential customers to inform them about Checkoff Finance’s products.
    • Directing prospects to the customer experience team when needed
    • Uploading, processing and monitoring customer’s request via appropriate channels to ensure customer success.
    • Liaise with customer experience team in handling grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
    • Optimal utilization of all sales tools and resources to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
    • Keeping adequate records of call logs and sales for administrative purposes

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
    • Must have completed NYSC.
