    Manager, Human Resource and Administration

    Job Description

    • The HR and Admin Manager is a tech-driven and digital HR Professional responsible for implementing and executing organization-wide HR Strategy. This role requires the understanding and execution of the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, Culture management, Training/ Learning & Development and Succession Planning.
    • The Human Resources Manager provides support and guidance to HR generalists, leadership team, and other members of the team to resolve complex, specialized, and sensitive issues when they arise.
    • This role is also responsible for aligning HR operations to the overall business strategy. Such operational responsibilities cover: HRIS, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning and Development, Employee Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Engagement, Culture Management, etc.
    • The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the Head of Human Resources and Administration.

    Primary Responsibilities    
    The responsibilities of this role will be broad and include:

    • Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives in line with the overall business strategy.
    • Drive the HR tech/digital strategy initiative and collaborate on the firm-wide accountability drive though HR data/ analytics management and reporting.
    • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and separation activities.
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
    • Develop and monitor overall HR processes, systems and procedures across the organization.
    • Implement organization-wide learning and development programs.
    • Act as a cultural steward; nurture a positive working environment that foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun, fair, and equitable workplace.
    • Oversee and execute quarterly appraisals sessions and employee performance management initiatives that drives high performance.
    • Assist in preparing payroll monthly, ensuring accurate data on appropriate HR Software.
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program and conduct annual industry wide compensation surveys and reports.
    • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance across all spectrums of human resource management.
    • Supervise HR Analysts in coordinating partnerships with Business Teams.
    • Stay abreast of industry practices and tools to improve the HR and Admin operations function.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Personnel Management or any related field.
    • A minimum of Second-Class Upper Degree in a recognized university and excellent WAEC result.
    • 5 - 7 years’ proven work experience in human resources with knowledge of Digital HR.
    • Professional Certifications (CIPM/SHRM/CIPD/HRCI) are an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of HRIS Software and Data Analytics is necessary.

    Investment Risk Analyst

    Job Summary
    The Investment Risk Analyst will be responsible for the risk management program of the organization. The responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization, developing, reporting, and monitoring formats on risk management issues, and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.

    Job Description / Primary Responsibilities
    The responsibilities of this role will be broad and include:

    • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions with the investment team.
    • Assist to meet the financial goals of the portfolios under management.
    • Come up with the solutions and / or contingency plans to reduce risks.
    • Analyze and anticipate market trends in the business market and come up with suitable strategies and recommend precautionary or improvement measures.
    • Build and maintain good knowledge of the company's investment management products and investment processes.
    • Create and improve on tools for identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling, and reporting risk exposures.
    • Ensure the organization’s financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization.
    • Understand the Investment Management business, including client portfolios and funds.
    • Ensure consistency of data and analysis across the business.
    • Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment.
    • Create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.
    • Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.
    • Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects.
    • Identify economic and financial trends to determine suitable investment strategies.
    • Monitor internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision.

    Job Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, finance, or another business-related degree.
    • 3 – 5 years proven work experience in a similar position.
    • Membership of professional bodies such as ICAN is an added advantage.

    Desired Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

    • Strong financial knowledge, including knowledge of market risk, ALM, and valuation concepts with a focus on fixed income and derivatives valuation.
    • Ability to build and maintain financial models and perform comparative financial modeling using pertinent industry analysis and current assumptions.
    • Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program.
    • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts.
