    Transmission Implementation Engineer (Access)

    Job Description

    Join the leading provider of Wholesale and Enterprise connectivity and data center services across the West African region.

    Responsibilties

    • Troubleshooting and resolution of 1st and 2nd level network related problems
    • Respond to and resolve SDH & MW networks issues within the timeframe of severity level agreements
    • Review and execute RPRs (re-provision requests) on GPON (SOHO) platforms with minimal supervision

    NOC Support Engineer

    Department: Technical
    Job Type: Permanent

    Responsibilities

    • The NOC Support Engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring of Transmission and IP devices across MainOne’s network through the support of Network monitoring systems, perform first line troubleshooting/fault isolation, resolve where necessary, and escalate to other levels for support in line with MainOne’s internal processes.

    Other responsibilities:

    • Maintain and ensure full compliance with all Main One’s NOC processes and procedures
    • Ensure proper technical documentation of all network events throughout normal/shift cycles or operations
    • Monitor MainOne’s network providing update, status and performance of all network components, capacity services etc.
    • Identify and provide first-line support on all faults on the MainOne network in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedure for fault escalation and management
    • Answer all network support related telephone calls and interface with internal/external customers on operational issues and related network events, using MainOne’s standard operating procedures
    • Run daily and weekly management reports on network events and activities as well as tracking escalations and other key performance indicators and ensure all customer SLAs are met.

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
    Qualification:

    • B.Sc / HND Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the configuration, operations and maintenance of optical fiber SDH and wireless network equipment

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Knowledge of IP devices will be a plus

    Legal Intern

    Location: Fabac, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • The Legal Intern will provide operational legal support to the MainOne group’s businesses across multiple jurisdictions.
    • The Legal Intern shall be responsible for advising on commercial transactions, vendor and supplier contracts, compliance matters, company secretarial matters, and risk matters.

    Specific Responsibilities are:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial legal agreements for the Company’s products and services, inclusive of master services agreements, sales agreements, service level agreements, etc.
    • Draft and review legal agreements for the Company’s vendor and supplier transactions including purchase agreements, third-party service agreements, interconnection agreements, professional service agreements, etc.  
    • Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial legal matters
    • Assist in providing internal advisory services to the business units and departments within the Company
    • Assist the compliance functions of the department inclusive of monitoring and maintaining the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), as well as identifying and ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
    • Assist the Company Secretary with company secretarial functions including providing all necessary secretarial support services in respect of the meetings with the applicable rules and regulations, monitoring the rendering of all statutory returns, and giving notification to the Corporate Affairs Commission as required under CAMA.
    • Provide assistance in connection with the contract management process of the department including the keeping of contract records, contractual obligations and terms for the purpose of compliance, required filing, and updates of contractual records

    Information Security Officer

    Responsibilities

    • The Information Security Officer will ensure that MainOne Information Security Management systems are up to date and fully operational, thus maintaining and enhancing customer trust.
    • The job holder will participate actively in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing and security reviews in MainOne with a particular focus on the MDXi.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Track the ISMS Calendar- to ensure all activities are up to date with requisite evidence as detailed by the ISMS Manager.
