    Operations Lead

    Job Description
    Responsibilities:

    • Policy Development: Create, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Team Management: Oversee the recruitment process and support HR in building a high-performing team.
    • Budget Oversight: Manage budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the board of directors to define values, mission, and short and long-term goals.
    • Problem-Solving: Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for the company.
    • Partnership Building: Establish alliances and partnerships with other organizations to enhance service offerings.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
    • Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to monitor and improve operations.
    • Customer Interaction: Support customer communication and satisfaction through effective management of operational processes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an operations management role.
    • Proven track record in managing operational processes and teams.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • In-depth knowledge of business functions and principles, including supply chain, finance, and customer service.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and business software (e.g., ERP, CRM).
    • Ability to build consensus and foster relationships among managers, partners, and employees.

    Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
    • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
    • Handle invoicing, payments, and collections to maintain efficient cash management.
    • Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
    • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification (such as ICAN) is a plus
    • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the distribution or logistics industry.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
