    Product Owner (Fintech)

    Objective:

    •  You will work closely with designers and engineers to define and drive product vision and lead innovation in products with cross-functional teams and think creatively to deliver products that will shape customer experience of a new generation of tech-savvy customers. You will identify key pain points and collaboratively design and build solutions that delight customers and empower internal staff. You will have cutting edge tools and technology at your disposal and will work in a high-performing Agile team.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Gain an in-depth understanding of customers and users and gather key insights that will shape the digital experience
    • Gather user requirements, write user stories and prioritize product backlog
    • Clearly communicate the requirements to the team
    • Give feedback to the development team
    • Facilitate release planning with stakeholders and participate in sprint meetings
    • Build and maintain a relationship with the stakeholders
    • Track and measure product progress
    • Coach development and design teams with detailed guidance during the product development
    • Identify key performance indicators and use them as a cornerstone for team focus and priorities
    • Prepare and present product visions and proposals to the leadership team when required
    • Manage expectations with Product Lead and other stakeholders

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related fields
    • 6+ years of software development / IT experience and 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with software products
    • Prior experience as a Product Owner in developing banking, financial services, or fintech, payments products
    • Deep experience in digital product development and marketing
    • Experience developing products from scratch to release and beyond
    • Experience with designing creative, quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technology
    • Experience of operating within a multi-channel brand
    • Stays abreast with latest innovations and trends in technology like blockchain, open banking, etc
    • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
    • Demonstrates thought leadership and is able to influence at all levels in the organization
    • Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping and analytics
    • Knowledge of Lead and Agile software development processes
    • Expertise across all areas of digital acquisition marketing including PPC, SEO, Social, Content Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and funnel optimization

    Internal Auditor

    Job Description:

    • To provide independent assurance to the Board of Directors and management on the effectiveness of the company's risk management, control, and governance processes.
    • This role will involve assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's internal controls, identifying and evaluating risks, and recommending corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Internal Control Assessment:

    • Conduct regular assessments of the company's internal control systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and evaluate control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
    • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management processes.

    Financial Audits:

    • Perform financial audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.
    • Review the company's accounting policies and procedures for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Identify and assess risks related to financial reporting.

    Operational Audits:

    • Conduct operational audits to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
    • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls related to key business activities, such as production, sales, marketing, and distribution.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

    Special Investigations:

    • Conduct special investigations as required to address allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse.
    • Gather evidence and document findings for appropriate action.

    Risk Management:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of the company's risk management framework.
    • Identify and assess emerging risks and their potential impact on the business.
    • Recommend strategies for mitigating risks.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update the company's compliance program accordingly.

    Reporting:

    • Prepare comprehensive audit reports that summarize findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
    • Present audit findings to the Board of Directors and management.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field, preferably in the FMCG industry.
    • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
    • Proven ability to conduct complex audits and investigations.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using audit software and tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
